My dog and I absolutely love this place. On a few occasions, while we were still homeless and living out of a van, we called this place home...never for extended periods -- probably only consecutively once or twice. But for the most part, even the other homeless were chill. (Shout out to Bob! ❤)
The park is damn near spotless. The playground seems to be a thrill for the kiddos. The ballparks are always immaculately kept. The men's room is pretty amazing, in spite of some of the ways it's been treated...heh...I can't speak on the women's restroom. The tennis courts are always clean and active; some of those games get super intense! Fun to watch. And the bike/hockey/whatever crazy concoction of a game that group of hella cool people gather to play on Thursdays.

Read moreIf you like peace and quiet in a park, then this park will probably not be your cup of tea. It does have a city swimming pool and tennis courts and lots of baseball diamond. So far, so good. The problem is how many people play extremely loud blasting music, disturbin the peace. I wish people would understand that not everyone in the park wants to hear their music. Also, I found the bathrooms locked, which is not okay for seniors like me. Overall, except for use by tennis players and kids, I do not find this park very enjoyable...
Read morethis is our go-to park for wonderful outdoor play time with our toddler. this park is great for kids of all ages, but is especially perfect for very early walkers. there are slides, swings, picnic tables, a flat sidewalk for bicycling/scooters, baseball fields and tennis courts nearby. it is also right along the bike trail that goes all the way through town and becomes the greenway. there are public bathrooms as well as big grassy field for running around. we are so lucky to have this lovely park in...
