Gnome Games Green Bay West — Attraction in Ashwaubenon

I come to Gnome Games pretty frequently, but this was my first time meeting Erin as a cashier. It was pretty busy, I think there was a tournament going on. I came to pick up a game when the register went down. I understand waiting, so I stood patiently in line, chatting with another worker there. Erin was pretty snippy, and constantly butt into the conversation, almost demanding to know what was said. It made me a bit uncomfortable, but I brushed it off. Then, they didn’t say anything when the register was fixed, and was snippy when their fellow coworker asked if it was back up and running. Over all, the experience made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in one of my favorite stores. Maybe they were just having a bad day, or how busy the store was, but everyone else that works there is so...

Very cozy shop, very helpful employees.

I placed a reserve for the Neopets TCG at this store, and they were nice enough to hold onto my order when I was too busy to come in that day. Employees are very happy to inform others of the events at the location, and it seems all-around friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be purchasing more from them in the future- I don't know if they sell single cards for the Neopets TCG yet- but I will at least be buying booster packs and decks from here.

If I had to say one thing I was disappointed in- I do wish their card sleeves and deck boxes had a bigger variety, as I was disinterested in almost all the designs that the sleeves featured- and opted to just go with basic solid colors instead.

I hope to attend one of the events...

Store seems nicely kept and well laid out, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My only complaint, based on my first and so far only purchase there, is that the price of full boxes of Magic boosters appears to be significantly higher than a well-known competitor located in Appleton and Fond du Lac. It's not enough to be worth going out of your way, but if you're making a trip specifically for that reason, and the distance isn't a great difference, it could be worth considering.

Other than that, everything seemed very nice. I would definitely continue doing business there - aside from the issue...
