I arrived at 7:25 pm on a Tuesday. There wasn't anybody waiting to be seated when I walked in. The host greeted me and said it would be a 4-minute wait for a table or I could sit at the bar immediately if I would like. Since I didn't plan on drinking I decided to wait for a table. As I was waiting a couple came in and chose to sit at the bar. I was brought to my table immediately after they sat down at the bar. It was right around 7:30 pm at this point. And then I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more. It was 7:50 before the bartender acknowledged me and said he would be with me "in a minute." I want to point out there were only three other tables being served in the bar area at this time and they all already had their food when I was first approached by an employee... this includes the people that sat at the bar just a minute or two before I was seated!
I ordered an ice tea with lemon, 15 medium buffalo and 15 lemon pepper with celery and blue cheese... and then I waited, and waited, and waited... at 8:20 the bartender came over and explained the kitchen was really busy because of the Tuesday BOGO offer and that is why it was taking so long to get my food. Despite me having already ordered them, he never offered to bring me some celery and blue cheese in the mean time so I would at least have something to eat while waiting. He just left me there waiting for my food. It was pretty obvious to me that the kitchen wasn't as busy as he claimed because the people seated right before me received their food in a short amount of time. I'm guessing my order was overlooked just like I had been while waiting to place it.
At about 8:30 my food was delivered to my table. The people that had sat down just a minute or two before I did were already done eating their entire meal at this point. The food was hot and tasted good but that was the only upside to this experience. I had to ask for an additional container to put my bones in because apparently at this B-dubs they feel you should just put your chewed bones back on the same tray as the food you are going to eat. I also had to flag down a server to get a refill on my ice tea... again I want point out that I had been sitting there for an hour at this point and other than having the bartender take my order and explain why it was taking so long I had no other contact with any employee.
When I was finished eating I had to flag down the bartender to get my check. When the check came I had to ask for wet-wipes to clean my hands with. He did bring a box to put my leftover wings in but I had to ask for lids to put on my sauces that I wanted to bring home. Again, I want to point out that at no time during this drawn out experience were there even 10 total customers in the bar area! The time stamp on my receipt was 9:00 pm... it took 90 minutes to receive 30 wings and eat 15 of them... There is simply no excuse for this type of poor customer service! I'll give the location another try in the future but if I get the same level of poor service I will just take my business elsewhere. Being ignored is simply not something a customer should ever accept form a business they are spending...
Read moreThe restaurant was clean. It wasn't busy, maybe only 6 to 8 other tables had customers. We were seated at our table quickly upon arrival. Waited almost 10 minutes before our waitress came to introduce herself and take our drink order. She returned a few minutes later with our drinks, sat them on the table and said I will be right back. At this point we were ready to order but we weren't given the option. About 5 minutes later she returned and asked if we were ready to order, so we placed our order. We waited about 15 minutes before she brought us one tray of chicken wings. She then asked what else we ordered and then said it should be up in a couple minutes. It was a good 7 to 8 minutes later she comes back with one more tray of wings, she sits it on the table, says the last one will be right up and she walks away quickly. Another 10 minutes go by and our waitress is just standing over by their station talking to another employee. A couple minutes later a gentleman brings my tray of wings and french fries out to the table. They are no where close to being hot, they must have sat in the kitchen the entire time because the wings were barely warm to the touch and the fries were cold. I couldn't believe they served them like that. I tried several times to get the waitresses attention but she continued to stand across the restaurant and talk with the guy coworker. When the waitress finally left her station she walked over with 2 boxes and the check. Placed them on the table and said I can take this whenever you are ready and walked away before I could say anything. She didn't ask if we needed refills or how the food was. Extremely horrible service! My son said his food was hot when he got it and my friends food was hot when she got it so I can't say my cold food was the kitchens fault. I definitely won't be back here for a...
Read moreHad a recent visit 1/19/2019 to Lombardi Ave. love. Got our appetizer fried pickles quickly. But the main order took about 40 minutes to reach us. My wings were cold and sent to reheat, wife's order of nachos the chips were starting to go soggy. If in Green Bay area and willing not to be by lambeau field go to the one off of GV if you want more consistent food and service, the one on Oneida is alright but as original review is the service is hit and miss(depending on server and management attitude).
4/28/19 visit adding to current review. This visit was a bad one. Both wife and I got cold/lukewarm food which I sent back to be reheated. Server asked if we would like to box the cold food to take home, which I asked if we'd be charged for that(due to another bad experience with bad service and bad food which asked for manager as server never made mention on being double charged, bww be glad that experience didn't get posted)...to which I got a scowl look and told "yes, you would be charged". Throw in as well with drink ordered server didn't ask what size (just brought most expensive size) and just ignoring us in general has gotten me to the point to where unsure I want to go to this location anymore as 5 out of last 6 visits have been bad. On 4/30/19 took the survey as on receipt, let been also know of the bad experience and asked for someone to contact me....as of today 5/20/19 still no reply to this survey.
Sadly this location (other bww's alright... like one in Bellevue for example) here on Oneida street is becoming that I have little to no faith in. Best of luck to those that come to eat here at this time.
This place was once a place to go. Hopefully it...
