I brought my 6-month-old, 30lb Siberian Husky puppy for a meet-and-greet today and had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite being a young and relatively small puppy, he was placed in a room with much larger, older dogs. This created an unnecessarily stressful environment for him, especially considering he’s well-trained and calm in other settings.
What made things worse was the lack of transparency. I requested to see my dog in the environment, only to be told that the cameras weren’t working. The front desk staff member eventually turned her monitor around, and I saw my puppy backed into a corner, visibly scared, with a larger dog barking directly at him. At that moment I said “No, I don’t like it. Please bring him out.” When I expressed my concerns and asked for him to be brought out, it took over five minutes. Frustrated, I went into the back myself, only to find that his harness had been incorrectly put on through his back legs, causing it to fall off as soon as he walked.
My dog was terrified, his heart was racing, and I left the facility with serious concerns about their professionalism and care standards. This might be a suitable option for owners of untrained wild animals or extreme high-energy dogs, but I would not recommend it for anyone with a well-behaved or young pet. I signed up for the 3 day package at the time being $65 a week. On a random day the system “was restarted” and they changed their prices. Then they changed it again. I was paying up to $90 when I was initially told I was always going to be charged $65.
They always have activities for the dogs (additional charges), and my least favorite part is the dogs aren’t taken out. They are in the same room. No potty training is enforced.
My least favorite thing was they were selling cute dog tags and I was charged $35 and they did not have it ready until 2 weeks later…
The big dog room cam is always lagging, it felt like they have a lack of experience in many aspects. I don’t recommend unless you want to throw your money down the drain...
Read moreI took my little Maltese here for a Meet and greet. The staff was very nice and friendly. They genuinely care about your fur babies, and will try satisfying all of your needs and concerns. The facility is very clean and well designed to enable them with the ability to provide all of your pets needs. They’re even equipped with cameras.
Unfortunately, the environment was a bit too fast-paced for my 14 yr old senior dog who is losing sight, hearing and mobility. 😔 But I’d still recommend this place to anyone wanting their fur baby to have lots of fun, get plenty of exercise, and be well attended to.
Thanks to Amey T. for listening to my challenges, and for showing care and concern for me and my little JoJo. She’s definitely a true dog lover with a...
