On the Rox Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Texas

I decided to try On the Rox Sports Bar for a takeout food order as I've never been here before but the reviews looked pretty good and so did the menu so I decided to give it a shot. First off the entire inside smells like an ashtray however, I will admit the bartender was nice and offered me water to drink while waiting for my food and even apologized for the wait time which was much appreciated. Anyhow I decided to try the Shroom Burger and Fries and added Bacon to the burger and also a side of Queso Cheese for my fries a pretty simple order and I was craving a good burger. This definitely fell far from a good burger for me...The onions were huge slices to where they should have been sliced much smaller, barely any mushrooms and wayy too much mayo to where the burger was sloppy and also the texas toast they used didn't compliment the burger well at all and worst of all the meat did not taste good or very flavorful just more so like a cheap frozen patty and the bacon also tasted cheap and old and was cold and rubbery.. The fries were overcooked and tasted like old grease and just tasteless..Lastly the queso cheese tasted horrible very cheap and no flavor just runny sauce..Not a good experience here and a wasted trip for sure and still left hungry as I only took a few bites and threw it in the trash..Not impressed at all smh and money wasted 👎🏾👎🏾🤦🏾‍♂️ Never a good sign when a Bar & Grill can't even get a good...

It is 9:58 pm Easter Sunday,  came out to have a couple of beers and order a meal

to-go. I Ordered  a Rox Bird. Cook comes out and said the grill has been closed and is already cleared.  Munchies Menu starts at 11pm. Kelly,  the bartender,  was just as surprised as I was, but she did say they've done that before but failed to inform the the staff that Munchie  Menu Only from

b-4 10pm.

The cook did come out after Kelly sent the new waitress (KC) to find out if the cook will be making the order. The cook promptly came out a second time and said he would complete my order.  I must say it looks delicious.  Little skeptical,  I don't know if he's the type that would "Spit or do something " to my food. I'll trust, because it's Easter...

I've been here at night for drinks & it was packed, music was good service was good & our bar bites were good. We decided to try it for Sunday Funday for some brunch/lunch. The food didn't have much flavor but it was edible. The service was terrible. We had a young lady named Cortney. (That's what it said on our ticket anyway. Brunette.) She would disappear for long periods of time. The food took forever, we asked her for a to go box & she never brought it but thankfully the cook brought us one. We were going to have another drink but decided against it as it would have probably taken another half hour just to get another drink from our waitress.
