Harbor Freight — Attraction in Athens

This is one of my favorite places to shop for tools and other odds -n- ends. The store is always clean and brightly lit with employees who are willing and available to help you find exactly what you're looking for.

Yes, the tools and other things that they sell are Chinese made, but I base my view on an item as to how well it works for the money. A few things are not up to par, but most work fine for me. Most of their hand tools have a lifetime warranty so if one does happen to break under normal use, they'll replace it and that's not bad! BTW, I've bought a few American Made products that weren't so great too.

About my only regret is that I didn't join their Inside Track Club early on as I've bought a lot of...

The employees were non attentive to me. Didn't acknowledge me when I came in, was talking to another employee while checking me out and didn't even say thank you, have a good day, nothing. Just handed me my receipt without even looking at me while talking to the other employee. They may as well not wear a mask as one had hers down around her chin and the other had it under her nose. Defeats the purpose of a mask. Doesn't look good on the company. They also were yelling lunch orders across the store. It would have been nice if I had been asked if I needed help finding anything as I did have a little trouble with it but instead they were too busy yelling and talking.Good prices on...

Warning to other customers: Worse place to buy generator says 16 hours on 3500 generator, but only get average 10-12 on 12,000 but a/c. Charging us a $100 stock fee for returning less than month. No more buying from their ignorance they resale. Bye harbour freight. Praise my Lord Thy God has way working it out. Getting allot better one Champion for $86 less discount with wheel kit, 22 hours of run time, electric start with remote, wow, look what He can do. Only had to sacrifice $15 in end up for allot better one on Amazon. Bye...
