We stopped by for a couple of blizzards and there was only one car at the order site. They were at the door where you pick your order up by the time we got there. We placed our order and pulled up behind them. Oddly enough the girl walked back to our car for payment immediately. I thought this was strange. She brought back our receipt. Then left and came back with our order. The car was still sitting there in front of us. The car finally pulled away and we left for home. Later I checked my email and found two separate charges on my cash app. The worker had charged my card for our order, then she put my card back into the card reader and charged my card $10.95 one minute later. We had the bill which showed only one charge for 13.95 which was our bill. It was clear the second charge had been charged to my card deliberately. I went the next day to speak with the manager and she said oh that must have been a mistake. I insisted she was a thief by there being two separate charges and not on the same bill. The manager said the girl was a airhead cause she knew her well. I was not upset over the 10.95 on my card, I am upset this worker stole from me to pay someone else bill. If I had used my debit card I may not have ever caught this. The cash app sends you the receipt as soon as you pay with it. I will never trust this place with any of my credit...
Read moreHello folks, thanks for reading my review. This is our second trip here, one shortly after the place opened and again today, 5-20-18. The first time we had something to eat. The food was average for this kind of place. The prices are competitive and service was alright. One thing I liked was after you order you're given a number, like some one else does, and they bring your order to you. I won't comment further on the food, others do that enough. I'll concentrate on the place itself, which is normal for my reviews; everyone always talks about the food and service. I prefer to look at other things. Being newly opened the place is still in decent condition. My wife likes the treats Dairy Queen makes so I think there will be updates on this subject. There is a nice patio area with plenty of seating (sorry, forgot to take a picture). There is one feature I found quite interesting. The drive through is actually a sliding glass door that the employee uses to go out to the car. No windows for them or the customer to lean out of to pass things. It looked to be foot operated. I supposed it can't be opened from outside. I gave a three star because there is nothing really great nor really bad about the place. It was what I expected. Four & five stars are rare for me.
Again, thanks for reading and I hope you like...
Read moreMy wife and I had a $15 gift card for DQ and had not been to this particular store before so we figured we'd try it. The menu is your basic burgers, chicken strips, fries and onion rings plus several ice cream treats which is what you would expect. I ordered a double cheeseburger meal and my wife got some chicken strips with fries. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the burger and fries. Fresh ingredients and it felt like it was home made. The fries were plenty hot and crispy too. My wife was disappointed with the chicken strips but liked the fries and her blizzard. The food arrived quickly even though the young woman who served us was working both the front counter and the drive through. Everybody's having trouble finding people who will work. The atmosphere is nothing special but was clean and adequate for the purpose. About the only problem I had was when I needed some extra ketchup and was unable to get someone to get it for me but they seemed to be a bit shorthanded so i went behind the counter and got some packets myself. I don't really blame them for this as they were very busy. Overall, I would say that if you are a burger and ice cream fan, you should...
