I normally come here to get my eyebrows waxed by Italia. On a recent visit I noticed how Italia decided to charge my card and put in the tip amount herself without my consent. Since coming In February, she would always ask for my card and hand me her phone to authorize the final payment and me as the card owner would choose the tip amount. Well that day she decided to bypass the normal process and try to be slick. The very telling part is she didn’t even send me the receipt so I could view it immediately after the appointment. I had to see the extra amount via online banking. I never had a problem tipping her but I have a problem with people using my card and taking out their own tip without my consent . I’ve never experienced this from a business. When you book the appointment it does not ask you for any pre tipping what so ever. I’m not sure why that lie was told to me by Italia. It only ask you for half of the service fee as a deposit. I could tell the owner of the booking website, Phoebe was kind of nonchalant about it. She did refund me my gratuity but it’s a bigger issue if someone is working in your establishment and trying to take advantage of a customer. That’s not a quick fix or refund. That’s a serious problem of dishonesty in your “business” . Because of that I could never trust my credit card being associated with this establishment again . Sad how $5 can mess up...

If you’re into having an amazing lash tech Phoebe is best! She is highly technical and knows her stuff! My lashes always look amazing and has kept the retention better than anywhere else I’ve gone. I’ve worn lashes before but unfortunately my eyes would burn every time they were put on and never found any resolution to keep them from burning so I thought I had to stop wearing them forever until I went to Phoebe for a second opinion. She is very knowledgeable and is continually studying her craft to give the best service to her clients. She found a way to keep my eyes from burning and I am so happy for it! I get compliments constantly and every appointment that I’ve ever had has been nothing but pleasant and relaxing. I drive an hour to see her and always leave so happy, it’s so worth it! Wow. Just wow. My experience here at Atlanta Beauty Designer was phenomenal and unmatched by any other places I’ve been to. They were attentive, professional, sanitary, and welcoming. I got my lash extensions done by the charming lash specialist Phoebe. I’m pretty new to extensions and she made me feel so comfortable and walked me through the whole process. I even took a great nap while getting them done! After this experience, I will not be going to any other place to get glammed up and pretty.
