I recently had a disappointing experience with Hitech Motorsports where I took my Bahama VIP 150cc scooter for repairs. Initially, I purchased the scooter from someone who needed financial assistance, and despite paying $700 for it, I encountered immediate issues when it failed to start.
Seeking a solution, I opted to have it repaired at Hitech and paid $329 for their services. However, the scooter continued to malfunction shortly after, cutting off during my rides—a problem that never occurred before. Frustrated but hopeful for a resolution, I returned to the shop, only to be met with an unpleasant encounter with their staff.
The interaction with the shop's personnel, particularly a very rude Indian woman, was unprofessional and disappointing. I was informed that fixing the recurring issue would cost an additional $240, which I declined due to dissatisfaction with their previous service.
What ensued was even more troubling. The Latino mechanics at the shop insisted I pay for the repairs before leaving with my own property and attempted to prevent me from leaving, which I perceived as an alarming attempt to coerce payment. Despite their threats, I managed to safely retrieve my scooter, which had clearly not been adequately repaired as promised.
My overall experience with Hitech Motorsports was marred by poor customer service, unfulfilled promises of repair, and what felt like an exploitative attempt to take advantage of individuals relying on affordable transportation options. Their treatment of customers, particularly those in vulnerable financial situations, is concerning and highlights a lack of integrity in their business practices.
In conclusion, I would caution others to reconsider using Hitech Motorsports for scooter repairs or purchases. Their actions not only failed to resolve my scooter's issues but also left me feeling mistreated and taken advantage of. It's important to support businesses that prioritize customer satisfaction and ethical conduct, qualities clearly lacking in my unfortunate encounter with Hitech...
Read moreI read the reviews about this place and I have always been the one to “try it for myself”. The service here was the worst I have experienced in all my life of living. I waited over an hour for Sam to return just so that he could tell me that he could not rent my girlfriend and I a Moped. Remind you, his store does not have AC. He kept telling one of his workers to tell his customers he is 15 mins away but in reality he was an hour way. Once he entered he gave us the poorest excuse of why it took him so long to get to the store. He had a call out and he had prior engagements he had to fill. He told me if I wanted to rent I had to rent for a minimum of two days. Seeing that this is impossible for me to do because I’m visiting from another state. He pushed it off on me (the customer) to figure out what should we do! I offer to rent for the remaining of the day (they closed at 6pm) and he said couldn’t do that. He then proceeds to say I’m out of luck and that he was sorry I waited for nothing. I will NEVER give him my business... Sam does not value his customers. Sam, I hope you can learn from your reviews and apply it to your business. What’s the point to have workers/ employees who can not run your business while you are away? None! Have...

I work in customer service, I know I to treat people and I was treated bad. And her comment below for 'Sam' to follow his own advice....WHO DOES THAT? What business facility do you know would point the finger back at the complaining customer, even IF they were wrong. (JUST SO HAPPENS HE WASN'T) so be nasty, be unhappy by your own-self Lady you just lost me, and HOPEFULLY...
