i do not normally do this but i have to because i would truly hate for anyone to experience the trauma I've encountered with Barber Don. My appointment was scheduled on today Saturday April 27th for 11;30am, i got to the Salon at or around 11:05 11:10. There were already three men already on his Suite, mind you a booked the appointment two days prior to my actual appointment. So when i get there i had this chicken sausage i had picked up on the walk over, I am not from Atlanta but not to long ago i moved to this side of town it's about a 15 min walk. So you KNOW i was excited to sit down and eat and look like a new man. Now his work i will no doubt give him his flowers the man can cut some hair I'm very picky on my barbers so i've been coming to Don for at least 3 months so that was not this issue..... The problem acquired at 11:40 after being there almost 30 minutes and him not mentioning ANYTHING the whole time about running behind. It was him starting on someone else's head that made me finally say something. My next response once i noticed was "Hey so what about my appointment time?"" nice but calm and concerning tone.... His first response was non compassion and aggressive. He tells me that I'm welcome to come back later but he's behind........ Brother you should've told me that while i was waiting and eating my food. Mind you i like Don and we never had any issues but this day i saw and heard all the entitlement like i should just accept what he saying. If he would have been more professional i would have had more understanding..... he kept cutting me off and not taking any accountability. I do not know how to cut hair but i do understand what professionalism is and Don showed me he is not the stand up Black man i can look up too. After i was telling him how he should just apologize he got in my face but i stood on 10 toes and did not flinch, because for one you know you wrong for two why would i hit you first when I am the one in the right. lastly this hurt me so bad because i didn't grow up with a father and i looked at Don as a guy i could trust his advice. After being treated like this I really hope no one feels the level or disappointment and disgust i am right now. I have to work and still haven't gotten my haircut, after being treated like that I don't even care my day has already been ruined..... please do not support...
Read moreVery nice on the inside. It has an upscale feel to it. The building holds several salons that run independently and offer a variety of services. Seems you can get a wax, nails, and hair done here. I went to Inner Beauty. After wearing my hair in a high afro bun for almost a year I came in for a deep conditioning and cut and left very happy. Also I received great advice on hair care tips for my thin hair. You can see my results in the photo. I...
