I want to start off saying this is my first time and this nail shop and then it will definitely be my last. I came here out of convenience because I get my wax next-door. All I came in for was for a simple nail repair. From when I come in, I’m already getting looks from when I walk in . The male receptionist asked me what will I be getting? I told him a nail repair. He asked to look at my nails and automatically assumed that they were acrylic. I corrected him and said no it’s gel . he went on his big old spiel because you have jail. They have to do a different so it’s gonna be extra so I said how much extra he explained a nail repair is six dollars and the repair will be eight. I said that’s fine when I sat down, the lady immediately looked at my nails and started speaking in another language. I already figured that she was talking about me but I didn’t care. I just wanted my nails done. I literally have a new and one red line at first they were saying oh we might not have this color. Y’all don’t have clear or anything close to clear nude ? I told her just get the closest possible. She goes on to do the nail repair and then laughs to herself and says whoever did your nails. The rest of your nails are lifting I didn’t say anything to her because I never asked for that information and my nails are not lifting because I just got them done . Another client came in that I guess she’s familiar with and then she starts rushing on my nail not even letting it finish the complete time and needs to dry and the nail dryer machine. My nails are new with all one red line on it she tried to just do a nude nail without the redline design I told her that I want the design and she said that would be extra and I said how much First she said $10 then she said an extra two dollars. I said it is fine then she said she doesn’t know what Redd I have on my nails, asking me what type of red and just goes and get an ugly dark red and the nail and tries to do the design with the nail polish brush instead of the design brush for designs . so I’ve kept my calm and cool head until it’s just clear the whole time y’all are gonna keep trying me so I stated to her I don’t know the name of colors every time I get my nails done. I also stated that she’s not even supposed to be doing that design with that brush because it’s supposed to be a smaller brush then all of a sudden she goes and gets the correct color with the correct brush. It’s a whole bottle she does it but at this point, I’m completely turned off by this place. I see the looks. I see the primary white clientele, but I definitely feel how prejudice they are and I will not be back to spend my money. I just didn’t feel like driving across town to my nail place because of trafficbut next time I will if I have to get better treatment because I’m really disgusted on how I was completely treated the whole time of me being in there, especially as a black person. The nail that they repaired is the ugly oval shaped one in the middle when my nails are clearly squared btw . Charge $1.75 if you’re playing card so I pay a total of $11.75 for one nail repair and it is ugly. I should’ve drove across town to my nail shop because I paid more for a nail repair and I feel...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this location for about a year (started going when it was still Glamour Nails). I’ve always had positive experiences with the staff, but had my first negative this afternoon. I wanted to get one of the glow in the dark SNS shades that was a more sheer white. Not only did my nail tech burn my nails with the file several times, she continued to insult my nail shade choice throughout my session. From trying to push a nail design and then talking to others around me about how she “tried to get me to do one” to saying “I’m definitely recommending people get another color under this” before she even finished putting the top coat on, it was a really frustrating experience. The “manicure” she offered was just a different file head to go around my cuticle and nothing else. On top of that, it was $75 for that service. I still plan to go to this salon but hope in the future that the nail techs can wait to share their true feelings about a customers choice for after they leave. Wendy did my pedicure and did a...
Read moreI LOVE this place. After a two hour gel mani/pedi experience, I walked out feeling completely pampered. I even got a mini massages. It's been about two weeks and my gel manicure still look great! The salon very clean, they use sterilized tools for each person and the service is amazing. Thank you Sue for a great experience. I WILL be back. On top of it all, the prices are good. I think I found the perfect nails spa.
I also feet safe to get my Pedicure at Posh Nails, because their used the Disposable liner for each client. That big plus for me.Highly recommended.....
I went today to get the French manicure soak-off gel and let's just say I cannot stop staring at my nails. I'm in a wedding on Saturday and needed something that can last. Anyhoo, I called to make an appointment and it was easy. The place is super clean. I was placed with Sue who is ultra-knowledgeable when it comes to nails. She did a FANTASTIC job. I will definitely go back for my nails and to try the other services....
