I expected more from this school because of its historical reputation, but I'm so disappointed. A couple of years ago, there was a radio promo calling women for a research study. I believed I qualified and reached out to the director of the program. It took a few attempts to get in touch with her, but she reached back out to me. When I spoke to her, she was unfriendly. She was dismissive and sounded exhausted. She said she would start by asking me a few questions. After she asked the first question or two, the phone call suspiciously disconnected. I called her back a few times, but she never returned my calls. It became clear to me that she disconnected the call on purpose. I moved on, and I was recently presented with an opportunity to be apart of a research study conducted by this school. Initially, a member of the medical facility that I visited was my main point of contact. The medical facility was the liaison between this school and I. I attended the first survey interview and another clinical meeting, and everything seemed fine. After that, a male rep from this school called to check on me and see if I needed anything. When I asked him questions, he would tell me to ask someone else. As I was on the phone with him, I started to get annoyed because he wasn't helpful. I was confused as to why he reached out at all. Then, the rep of the medical facility reached out to me to confirm the meeting time for our follow-up interview. After a time was set and the interview date approached, I reached out to the medical facility's rep to confirm the interview date. I did not receive any update. I was confused as to what caused the radio silence. To my knowledge, I was qualified. I was also clear in my communication. I only spoke to the reps when they initiated contact, and I was actively participating in the study. It wouldn't have hurt if they had communicated with me if something changed. However, I decided to look up old emails regarding the study and found the contact information for the Morehouse director of the program. I called and text her, but there was no reply. Then I received a few spam calls, which led me to believe I was blocked. If I had been blocked, I'm still unclear as to why. After looking the director's name up, it finally clicked that this was the same lady who hung up on me a couple of years ago. This is truly astonishing! I'll make sure to be more vigilant about anything regarding this school and actively run in the other direction. I am not sure what was going on, but my overall impression of this school is that the members are unprofessional, rude, and...
Read moreI arrived for my scheduled appointment for a complete physical examination, and never received service. It was really frustrating, after taking time off from work, and arriving. I completed paperwork and submitted it to the young lady at the front desk with my driver license and insurance card. The young lady told me that I had to pay $115.00 because I had not met my deductible. I explained that my co-payment was either $15.00 or $20.00. She stated several times that I had to pay $115.00. I called my insurance company while in the office and was advised on the phone that my co-payment is $20.00 but because it is for a Physical Examination that my co-payment is nothing/$0.00. While I was on the phone and also trying to communicate and get requested information from the ladies to give to my insurance company/insurance examiner as she requested, one of the ladies told me to get from behind the counter in a rude manner and tone; I was on the side of the counter on my cell phone trying to get information from them to provide to my insurance examiner as she asked questions to resolve this. Since I would not pay the $115.00, I was not seen by the doctor. I asked for my completed paperwork back with my personal information that I had completed and submitted to them, and the two young ladies said that they had already shredded my paperwork; one of the ladies said to me in an very arrogant tone have a good day. Mind you, I am a senior citizen, over 68 years old. As I was leaving the office, the young ladies begin talking about me and the situation with another lady waiting to see a doctor/customer in the...

I booked a pulmonary function appointment on FEBRUARY 7, 2022 for an April 19, 2022 appointment. It was the earliest date they had, so I booked it and waited. Note that I have been experiencing symptoms that are impacting my quality of life and which need addressing sooner rather than later. On April 11, 2022, one week before the appointment and after I had waited more than two months already, I got a call from their office saying the doctor was unavailable on my scheduled appointment date of April 19th and that my alternative was to attend a virtual appointment the next day. I was scheduled to do a pulmonary function test & I’m not exactly sure how they were intending to do this test virtually, but either way I declined because I couldn’t make room in my schedule so last minute. That was the only availability unless I wanted to wait until the end of May for the original doctor to return. Otherwise, they offered to provide the name of another practice that they recommend. I am moving states in May so I couldn’t accept either of those alternatives, so I guess I’ll just have to wait until I get settled in my new state and find a doctor.
Really frustrating experience, and I felt the alternatives they offered after cancelling my appointment (virtual appt., 2 more months of waiting, or just go somewhere else) were not appropriate or...
