The Lady was pretty rude and hung up on me.I am a teacher by trade but also a small time woodworker on the side.(aka: a real person) I recently felled a black walnut tree on my property and milled it myself. I was curious if I could make any money with it and was calling to inquire if they bought wood from small time guys like me. She said no. When I asked if she knew of a place I could sell it, she interrupted me and stated, "No it's a common question and I don't have an answer for you. goodbye...click" It isnt the rudest anyone has been to me but it was rude. I can't imagine myself doing business with them. I visited their location about a year ago and the selection was very small. This is the behavior of someone with a struggling business desperate for money so if they smell that you have money, and you are slick enough, you may get a good deal from their limited selection. Joe was very welcoming upon arrival to my first “real” lumberyard. This was my first time ever going to a lumberyard , so I didn’t know what to expect . From the moment I walked in , he was super friendly , and very knowledgeable about all types of species of woods. It was very interesting listening to him describe all the many facets of hardwoods and you could literally learn more from Joe in 30 minutes than watching hours and hours of YouTube videos .
