The most requested rotisserie chicken left on Chicken Wars is Market Basket. They have 95 locations, primarily all in New England, and they have SOLDIERS. My comments have been flooded with Market Basket requests since I started this journey. For full transparency, I didn’t know MB existed until I started DOGGIN these chickens.
I walked in with my production team, and was so caught off guard. Employees smiling from ear to ear while being dressed to the nines, floors squeaky clean, a fresh popcorn station, a delectable looking hot bar, etc. There is just so much soul in here. This is what a family run grocery store looks like before they sell out. You can just tell, this is their baby. They care so much. They put their heart and soul into running these stores, and it shows. I felt like I was in a Bucee’s, and I don’t know if I could give a higher compliment.
Perhaps the most surprising thing of all was the $4.69 rotisserie chicken. This marks the cheapest tissi Chicken Wars has ever seen. Cheaper than Costco and Sam's Club. How are they doing this?
My one concern was that the chicken came in saran wrap, which I thought would make the skin all soggy. The other 32 grocery stores I’ve tried all came in a plastic bag or plastic container. However, I respected the confidence. They’re not scared to do something no one else is doing. Talent hits a target no one else can hit, genius hits a target no one else can see.
We got this bird and took it to a park down the street, and I began consumption. The skin was ideal, a perfect golden brown with a slight crisp. The saran wrap didn’t make it soggy at all.
The breast was perfectly tender and was delicious. I didn’t need one sip of water throughout the whole bird. The leg was operating at a high level as well, falling off the bone.
I sat on this park bench in awe. How? How can this be $4.69, a good size, and this good? It didn’t make sense. I’m still struggling to come to terms with it. I ended up giving it an 8.9/10, which makes it tied for 3rd with the Fresh Market. My only critique is it didn’t have as much flavor as Fairway or Publix, but it was right there. I was so inspired that I went back in and tried to buy a hat, but they didn’t sell any smh.
I was especially thankful for this, as we needed a road win in New England. The other 2 birds I tried up here were ROUGH.
A nice side effect of this journey has been traveling to try new birds. Every time I travel, I feel like I gain a wealth of knowledge in a short period of time. I grow and learn every time I go to a new place, and to me, that’s what life is all about. Learning, growing, and trying to satiate this passionate curiosity I have about the world.
THANK YOU MARKET BASKET FOR BRINGING THE REAL BACK! FOR BRINGING THE SOUL BACK!

I love Market Basket. They have a wide assortment of brands and a HUGE store. The clerks are extremely helpful, and their attitude seems to spread to their customers! I'm disabled and need the scooters to shop, most of the time. There hasn’t been one time there that someone hasn’t offered to help me get something from the top shelf! That's impressive!
The perishable foods are very fresh. They have a large selection of the regular choices of meats, fish and poultry, as well as a butcher section where you can pick the best quality meats.
Need help in the meat department? Ring the bell, and someone will be out to help you almost immediately.
Their deli is quite large, and has several people working, so the line of customers moves quickly.
Their prepared foods, I’ve only bought the fried chicken so far, is delicious! And, if you don’t feel like cooking, there is a large variety of freshly cooked and refrigerated meals you can purchase. You can even buy a meal, and eat it in their dining area! Feel like an ice cream or snack? They have a section for that, as well with its own cashier.
They have MANY registers for express shopping and even more for large orders. So the wait is seldom very long when checking out.
And, if you're handicapped, they are happy to have someone help you to your car and pack your groceries into the car for you. You can even drive your scooter to your car and leave it there. They have carriage "boys" constantly patrolling for carts and scooters, so they seldom run out of carriages. I only saw that happen once in all the time Market Basket has been opened. I THINK they realized how large their customer base was going to be, and bought more carriages and scooters. Just great!
I just have one question for the dairy department. Why does it say I need to shake the store brand of half and half? I never saw that on half and half before. And, I never shake it, and it’s just fine. LOL
On top of all these things, they have the best prices around!
I'm really thrilled that Market Basket came to Attleboro! I love...

The personnel is exceptionally amiable, and the store is spotless and well-run. Fresh produce, high-quality meats, and a variety of grocery items consistently surpass my expectations. I value the affordable costs and the enjoyable shopping environment as a whole. Without a doubt, my preferred supermarket in Attleboro. My favorite Market Basket location is this one. The staff is helpful and kind, and the place is consistently clean and well-stocked. I heartily endorse it! Having shopped at Market Basket for many years, I'm consistently pleased by the affordable costs and extensive assortment of goods. This also applies to the Attleboro location. You can get all of your groceries there for a significantly lower cost than at other supermarkets. Market Basket is my favorite! The meat is excellent, the produce is always fresh, and the prices are unbeatable. Although there is some crowding at the Attleboro location, the savings make it worthwhile.
Market Basket is renowned for its straightforward strategy and commitment to providing the greatest deals in the area. It is said that the store carries a large assortment of goods, such as produce, meat, fish, baked goods, flowers, and non-food items. For me, this makes it a one-stop shop. The store can get extremely busy, particularly on weekends and holidays when business is at its highest. It could be challenging to navigate and locate what you're looking for as a result. There aren't many gluten-free and organic options, but overall the store has a good selection. In comparison to other grocery stores, there are fewer options for organic and gluten-free foods. Attleboro, Massachusetts's The Market Basket, located at 1200 Newport Ave., seems like a decent choice for shoppers on a tight budget who don't mind large crowds and want a wide...
