I have to start by saying I really kind of hate this type of place. They’re loud They’re crowded. The lights are way too bright. They’re full of hordes of children - I have a child, but there’s only one for a reason.
So, I do not ever approach this type of establishment expecting anything more than hopefully being able to tune everything out until I can leave.
But Big Air is actually ok. Sometimes it’s genuinely not crowded and I buy a ticket and jump or try out some of the other activities.
When it is crowded, it’s still not awful because:
Two things particular to my situation are:
The one thing I don’t get is why you can buy tickets online, but then you have to wait in the same line as everyone else when you get here. Filling out the waiver in advance does save a lot of...
Read moreWould never recommend this place. It is just for little kids, young adults will not enjoy any part of it. I paid almost $600 for a 2hr party and food add on. First, the trampoline park is small for what it is. They claim to have 40+ attractions when really they have less than 10 and half of them were closed because they didn't have enough staff members to open them. The dodgeball area had maybe 3 balls in it which makes it near impossible to play a game. The basketball hoops did not have any balls so you had to barrow one of the 3 from the dodgeball area. The zipline is absolutely tiny and the ninja course is so small it can't be considered a course. All the kids cut in front because there is no one there to monitor the attractions, literally ANYWHERE. Second, the party room wasn't a room it was just sectioned off area and a curtain separating you from the other parties. The kids from the other parties kept punching the curtain and actually hit someone in our group. The pizza was super cheap especially for what you pay for it, the fruit tray was extremely small maybe good for 3 people and the fruit was all slimy and it all tasted like grapes. The cookie cake was actually good and decent sized. We were supposed to have a party host the whole time but the only time we ever saw him was when he brought the pizzas and then when he came to tell us our time was up. Plus when he brought the pizzas at the beginning of our time he told us that he had another group coming in right after us so we had to hurry up. We were supposed to get a free backpack for the birthday honoree but never received it. Lastly they charged me a $20 credit card processing fee even though I purposely brought cash to avoid that but because they force you to put down a deposit online with a credit card you are then forced to pay the fee. The staff was extremely unhelpful and we didn't even get into the park until 10 minutes after our time started because the staff couldn't figure anything out. It was not worth anywhere near what I paid and I will never go back. The only reason I chose this place over defy was because it had better reviews which are obviously all fake because they had a sign on their counter offering free socks if they left a 5 star review. Huge disappointment and...
Read moreThis place is huge. It shares a space with an indoor sport facility so the amount of noise and heat from all the physical exhertion was pretty overwhelming. We booked our son's birthday party here thinking it was a different facility but kept the reservation once we discovered the error because we already paid the deposit. Upon arrival the staff made it very easy to check in and were very friendly. This place would probably be A TON of fun for older kids but I don't think was the best option for the ages in our party (4 and younger). Because it is just an open arena for all ages, it was extremely challenging for all the parents to keep an eye on their kids and keep them corralled in spaces they could actually participate in the activities. The "toddler" area worked good for about 15 minutes with our 3.5 - 4 year olds but was too challenging for the littles who wanted to play and then the older toddlers took off wanting to keep exploring. There are so many different activities that would appeal to lots of ages, but again probably more like 10 yrs old and up. There are also no secure places to put things like purses or backpacks unless you rent a locker and I didn't see open water fountains anywhere (from what I saw) so you had to purchase bottled water if you didn't bring your own. Once we got everyone corraled in the "party room" the staff was super attentive helpful getting food set up and accommodating our request for an extra pizza and bringing pitchers of water. We were able to bring our own cupcakes for the kids to decorate and eat which was nice but it was hard to even sing happy birthday because of how loud it was. We decided to not open presents because of the limited time in the space and the volume. Overall, all the people we encountered were super friendly but as far as a space for a (younger) kids birthday I didn't love having an "open" room to the rest of the chaos in the building and would have preferred an area for just our party to play, or more options specifically for the youngest of jumpers so I won't be back for a few years at least, and probably just for a fun afternoon and not a...
