I went to Office Depot with my mom to print a poster, and we were helped by an employee named Simon. The moment we approached the counter, he immediately said, “What do you want?” — no greeting, no courtesy. My mom started explaining what we needed, and he rudely responded with “What!” and started rolling his eyes.
When I stepped in to explain, his attitude only got worse. He told me to email the image and simply said “back computer” in a dismissive tone. At checkout, my mom was trying to read the screen, and he started tapping the monitor aggressively. My mom politely told him to stop because she was reading, and he defensively said that the machines “sometimes don’t work.” I asked, “So is that our fault?” and he just said “no” without even looking at us.
When we came back to pick up the poster, he handed it to us and said “take it” — no thank you, no professionalism. I tried asking another question, but he just walked away, so I had to ask another associate who was actually kind and helpful.
Later, when I asked Simon about a price difference between two posters, he once again snapped “WHAT” at me. I had to raise my voice just to get a simple answer. By that point, I didn’t even bother saying thank you — it wasn’t worth it.
What made it worse was hearing another customer nearby say she didn’t even want to deal with Simon because of how he spoke to us and others. This is completely unacceptable behavior from someone working in customer service. I will not be returning to this store again.
Definitely not worth your time and money for this type of behavior...

The only reason I end up shopping at Office Depot is because there is no staples near to where I transfer for work. Came in tonight and a gal name Sara, supposed to be the manager of the store is the most rudest, racist person I have ever met. I think she was talking down to me because I'm Asian and maybe she thinks that I'm not capable of understanding what she was saying. All I was asking is why does your desk calendar on clearance are more expensive compare to the one that more up to date, instead of answering my question she aske what did you want me to do about it? Really!? Is this a professional customer service manager that you put on your floor? In addition to that I asked why they didn't take out the one label that you have the signs out for buy two get one free on my receipt, she said oh because it's not shipping label which I understood, so then I asked, so if I get one more shipping labels then it will be free, she answer me with well yes but you have to bring it here and you can't just walk out of the door because the alarm will ring it's going to look like your stealing it. ARE YOU SERIOUS! With that comment? What the hell does she think of me!? An idiot!? All I can say is I will never ever shop at Office Depot again! If you don't want my business I can travel to staples just fine even if it's far so that I don't have to deal with this type of unprofessional...
Read moreThey used to be just fine to go to for little personal printing jobs. And they were very quick which was nice. But the last two times I have gone n the last couple of months they keep getting my order wrong.
My most recent order the prints were not centered in the pages like it is in the PDF. Also I got a spiral bound manual and it did not come with the clear front plastic cover or the black back plastic cover, even though the order form with my order said it did. And when they brought it out to me, they brought me someone else’s order so I had to go inside anyway to switch it. I was in a rush to give it as a gift to someone so I couldn’t have them fix it. Looked like a pretty lame, unprofessional gift.
The order before from a few months ago, I had to go back 4 different times because they kept getting it wrong. The first time I got the email saying it was done but when I went to pick it up, it wasn’t. So I called the next day and they said it would be done within the half hour. I got over there two hours later to get it and it still wasn’t done. Then when I finally got it, the spiral was on the wrong edge. The third time I came back, the last 20 pages were missing. Fourth time they printed it double sided when it was supposed to be single. The last time it was finally right. Luckily the manager gave me this order for free which was very nice. The most recent order though it wasn’t worth wasting my time getting it...
