Horrible customer service experience. I bought a few items and when I arrived home, I noticed that one of the items (which was a present for my daughter) was missing, but I was charged for it in the receipt. So I drive back to HomeGoods to try and get my item, but was met with an unprofessional and incompetent employee and manager. Worst of all, I was insulted by one of the employees, calling me a liar. As if I need to steal a measly $15 item, after a $100+ purchase of various items. The incompetent manager, accused me of being rude, because I was upset that his employee called me a liar in front of everyone, ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I finally got my money back, but the extremely embarrassing experience has ruined my view of what used to be one of my favorite stores. This entire experience was insulting and embarrassing. I will never step foot in this store. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Worst of all, I overheard another employee saying that I was not the first customer this employee created an issue with. That this employee is confrontational and disrespectful to customers. Which says a lot about the so called “manager”, who willingly keeps an employee who is known to be confrontational and disrespectful...
Read moreWent in for the first time ever. Very spacious and enjoyed browsing through the variety of merchandise. I did, however, go in for one item. A shower curtain liner. Found it, exactly what I wanted, waited a good while in line and when my item was scanned by the clerk she said she couldn't sell it to me. What???? Long story short, merchandise throughout the store was being marked at the wrong price and because of an internal error I was going to be pushed on out the door without hesitation. Luckily, I was in a very patient mood and stood there until the clerk could think of a way to resolve the issue. Thank goodness there was a team member who was able to tell her with what she needed to do and sold me the shower curtain liner. I know retail can be difficult, but always remember, the customers keep the stores in business. I may visit again, but I'm...
Read moreThis store recently opened it doors in Augusta. It's located in Washington Crossing. This area is bustling with business because several stores have also recently opened here. The setup in this store is nice. I feel that this store is smaller than all the others they have around the country. There are really nice items for the home here. The aisles are easy to navigate and the store is organized well. I was in search of a nightstand for my bedroom. I priced a few here and I feel they are good prices for what you are getting. There were a few nightstands I saw that I really liked and is debating about purchasing. I did find a storage bin to put my CDs, DVDs, and other discs in. It was about $8. The checkout process was a breeze and the cashier was very eager to help me check out. I will definitely be back to check out more...
