The Tanner house is a house museum meaning that it once was a private residence and is now open to the public. It has been restored and preserved and makes for a great tour. If you’re interested in historical homes and how wealthy Aurorans lived in the mid-1800s then this is the place to come. Admission is $5 for adults/$3 kids- check the website for hours as it is not...

Nice big house from way back in the day. Took the kids here on the 4th we all enjoyed the tours and the history.. Would recommend if your having a slow day and dnt know what to do...oh and its free. Donations are appreciated tho. So bring a buck or two if u got it.. If not they don't expect anything. Il go...
