We were looking for a place to eat after a day of shopping and came across this place. Completely empty when we walked in. The food was acceptable, although it did take a long time to make. The thing that I wanted to comment on was the service. The young lady that served us must've been SUPER new. Took copious notes when we ordered. BUT still had to come back to double check it. And some of it was wrong. When it was time to pay, my husband went up to the register at which point the same server (only server) took payment. She wrote up the bill, it was $24. She didn't give my husband the bill at which time he asked to see it to gage the tip, based on the tax. She said they don't charge taxes, what!? But because we were using a credit card there would be an added $2 charge. Bringing it up to $26. She asked if he wanted to add a tip, he said yes, $6 - which now brought it up to $32. She runs the card and then gives him the receipt for $32 - and says, please write the tip you were giving so I know it's for me. My husband said but I don't want to be charged $38 - double tip. She said, "No, it won't be charged again. Guess what? It was! So, we ended up paying $38 for a $26...
Read moreDefinitely not what we expected at all. We decided to visit this place for our company lunch since everyone hypes it up on social media and to our surprise it was the complete opposite. We were the only ones at that time and our wait time was ridiculous, the food is mediocre and flavorless-my huachinango was burnt and they still served it, portions are small compared to the price. Not sure what the hype is all about but we will definitely not return. Good luck to this place they really need it, we don't anticipate them being in business too long. Long story short 0 stars for food, 1 star for service, 1 star atmosphere.... and yes this is the correct location its the location on Galena Blvd next to a laundromat, used to be named La Cocina de Lobo Not sure what changed but definitely...
Read moreWhat a find. A Latin seafood restaurant. A great menu with lots of fun things to try. This was my first time and for lunch so I had the well presented pulpo appetizer which was a small meal to itself. Great taste, innovative and a bit spicy. Pulpo can be rubbery if not done correctly and this was perfect. Still a bit hungry so I had 2 tacos. One camarone and one barbacoa. Again excellent. The barbacoa was moist and not greasy as can be. The camarones taco was the star and well worth the modest price. It was a taste sensation. There is so much more to try here. I’ll bet the fish is excellent , although to be truthful I’m not a talapia fan. Definitely give this a try. Prices are a bit higher than you might expect but the product you’ll get...
