I could praise every member of the staff. However this one will focus on the Internet Manager, NICK. While I cannot say enough good things about Nick and the team at Bud's let me share that during my many interactions with Nick, after having made an internet purchase, has resulted in star treatment. Sometimes, producing a great job is not about being innovative but just being committed and consistent in producing an excellent job and Nick has shown that. He is one in a million. He always takes the extra steps and he is an inspiration to many.
I am immensely grateful to have someone willing to do all it takes to get the job done excellently. Although his tasks are demanding, we are always sure that Nick will meet up with the challenge. When a person is outstanding on a job, it’s only important to recognize such a great skill. Nick has made a powerful impression on me with his great performance. I know that he will continue to be successful and that better opportunities are coming, his way.

Read moreLove the mission, love buying secondhand, but the customer service is lacking. Ordered two sets of cabinets and rented a U-haul for pickup. Found out on my drive home that they didn’t load one of the cabinets and it was too long of a drive to make it back there before they closed. Since they wouldn’t refund the single cabinet I had to drive back a different day. They were at least able to hold the product after I called twice since they never returned the first call and it also thankfully just barely fit in my car. Now I have to figure out how I’m going to get it in my condo since I don’t want to ask the people who helped me with the others. Something that would help prevent this is if you had a picture of the item purchased on the receipt. I could no longer find it after my purchase and couldn’t remember what the left behind cabinet even looked like because it wasn’t one of the main ones I was needing for my project. Read moreI really wanted to give 5 stars because I love the mission of this business, and have been a customer for years. I also appreciate the new location. Unfortunately, their prices on many items have risen beyond what I believe is needed for the increased overhead. Granted, they do have several unused items that are donated, but when you can find those items new online or in the store for a fraction more and quality backed by the manufacturer, I'd rather have a guaranty than a 10-20% discount of retail price. They do have many used items in good shape, but as an experienced DIYer, I found that used tends to take longer to install, sometimes missing parts, or have to buy addition materials just to make it work, so it isn't always a great deal especially when Bud's used materials now come with a higher price tag. It appears that this store is moving toward pricing for contractors who will buy cheaper and profit from their customers than the DIY homeowners who can't afford...
