Port Of Peri Peri — Restaurant in Aurora

We are going back there again soon !!

We were 12-15 ladies there for lunch yesterday to celebrate a friend’s birthday . The person (Vijay) at the counter was very polite , accommodative and patient right from the phone call I had made to let them know we were going there to the end of the event .

They seated us in a nice area and it was like a little hall , all to ourselves ! So we were able to have fun and be loud as it was away from the regular seating . Loved that convenience !!

As with the food , we bought 2 family platters and one wings platter and everything was so tasty !! ( we literally finished and wiped off every tray that was served - clean!!!)

The chicken was soft and juicy , the sauces out of the world , corn , coleslaw , fries and rice were made to perfection !!

A must visit; ask for Vijay and I forgot the chefs name - all were super sweet people at the counter . They even let us bring in a cake from outside !! Thanks to all of the staff and we are really sorry we missed giving you all a bite of the birthday cake !! We will be back there soon with our families to make up for it and enjoy the food...

Absolutely horrendous . I have been going to this place since they opened and have been a regular to the point where the Bolingbrook staff knows me . I went to the Aurora location today and had a horrible experience. I asked the lady at the front if I can get less rice extra chicken and she said okay we can do that. I proceed to get my food and I get the regular amount of chicken they give but the pieces are even smaller and cut up . If I am paying 20 dollars for a rice bowl you would expect it to be more chicken than small nuggets . I asked her to take it back and see if I can get more and she says okay and brings me back the same plate 2 minutes later. I ask for a manager and they end up giving me the cook saying he’s the manager . I don’t understand a single word he says and I ended up asking for a refund and they wouldn’t give it to me .This is all besides the fact that some of my friends had to wait 40 minutes to receive their food . This restaurant and all of its chains throughout Chicago have massively declined and will soon be out of business if they keep on conducting their customer...

After eating more than 10 times, I am rating Port of Peri Peri 5-star for consistent taste and flavor. I have tried many restaurants in last one year but no one have been this consistent. Great Job Port of Peri Peri. New Review of 06/10/2024 I had a very disappointing experience with my takeout order from Port of Peri Peri today. Firstly, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes for my order. After this extended wait, I expected the food to be hot and fresh, but my expectations were completely ruined. The chicken was not fresh at all; it tasted like it was made from day-old leftovers that had been regrilled for takeout.

It seems something has changed at the Aurora Port of Peri Peri, possibly a new Cook or Restaurant Manager.
