I would not recommend Aceable if my life depended upon it.
Aceable has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have no phone number to contact them, they are slow to respond to emails and they have no follow through to emails. You never get anyone on chat during business hours. For example, today 05/17/2020. They say hours are 9am to 1pm CST on Saturdays and Sundays. I have been trying to get someone on Chat since 9am today and all I get is, "Sorry, we are not online at the moment".
What do you mean you are not online at the moment.
Your hours on your website list the following:
ABOUT ACEABLE
Hours Open 7 Days a Week Mon ā Fri: 8am-7pm CST Sat ā Sun: 9am ā 1pm CST
Is this not correct? If not, why have you not updated your hours? If this is correct, why are you not online?
I have also tried to contact you during your business hours M - F as well with the same outcome.
My emails have detailed my issue and all I get back is, "How can we help you?" If you would read my detailed emails you would know that, I have tried to cancel the roadside services 3 times. Now, as I tried a 4th time again today, it is now saying my email address does not exist.
Where do I go from here? The BBB, do I file a formal complaint against your license with the State of Texas, seek an attorney, file a fraud complaint with my bank and PCI?
Please tell me who I can contact to get this issue resolved?
Update:
Amazing, with in minutes of posting my review. The roadside service has been canceled and 1 month refunded. Funny considering roadside associates are only available M - F 10am to 4pm CST.
Unfortunately, this does not change my review. Still had to post a bad review to get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis course is probably the most annoying, cheesy, tedious, long and painful course I have EVER taken and it's not like what they are asking is what is going to be on the exam. Let me expand on this.
It starts you off with this useless information about the history of cars. Not the history of car safety but the HISTORY OF CARS. HOW IN THE HELL WILL THIS HELP ME BE A BETTER DRIVER??? it even has the audacity to ask me questions about this useless information and then proceed to make me restart the whole thing if I get a question wrong about something stupid like what car brand was the first to implement seatbelts.
And then after the first half hour or so it actually dives into a little bit of car safety and it makes you watch a half hour, non-skip-able, extra boring video about a concept so obvious it could be summarized in 10 seconds or less, then proceeds to ask you the most irrelevant question about said video, in my case it asked me about the color of some irrelevant car that was in the video for like 4 seconds, like how the hell with that help me in any way shape or form, and then if you get this impossibly irrelevant question wrong, then you have the re-watch the whole 30 minute+ video all over again, not able to skip any single part of it.
This course is useless, cheesy, tedious and annoying and has made me completely unmotivated about getting a license, I have no idea how this joke of a course has such a good rating, all this rating does is trick and fool people into buying this garbage course. Trust me when I say ace able is a big fat joke and it will take you forever to finish. It's almost like people are being payed off to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe material was clearly presented, albeit repetitive, probably because state law requires spending 6 hours on the course. Some of the repetitive material might have been replaced by more interesting material, rather than repeating some points 2-3 times. The reminders for how to change a flat tire safely and how to jump start a dead battery safely were nice additions, and the defensive driving tips in various circumstances (and how to deal with aggressive drivers) were good material. The main reason I have rated the course 2 stars is because the web pages loaded very slowly, no matter whether I used recent versions of Firefox and Chrome, or the less recommended Internet Explorer. Chrome was actually the worst in number and frequency of "frozen" pages. The only way to advance to the next page, when the browser would freeze (every 5 or 6 screens) would be to hit "refresh." This would prompt a "chat" pop-up, but the technical support people could not fix the problem, and the pop-up would disappear, making continued chat impossible. Calling the customer service number was a complete waste of time, because I never got an answer in hold times of 20 minutes or longer. During holds, I would keep trying to advance through the course, hitting refresh when "frozen," and minimizing the useless chat pop-ups. Finally, after over 8 hours for the 6 hour course, the extra time being spent waiting for the screens to advance, the course was finished. The experience was needlessly lengthened because of technical problems and a total lack of...
