Freytag's Florist — Attraction in Austin

I ordered a dozen roses for my mom on her birthday - ordered them an hour before they closed. I got an email about an hour later saying they'd been delivered. I got a phone call from my mom a couple days later saying, and I quote, "I have gotten a lot of roses over the years, but I have NEVER gotten any as beautiful as these. They are huge. I can smell them throughout the house. ...These must have set you back quite a bit.". You might be thinking oh that's a mom saying thanks for flowers - but she wouldn't have said all this about some average flowers. I've gotten my mom flowers before, this was a completely different response than the usual oh they're so pretty thank you etc. This was like raving on and on about them. I checked the website - says these roses are Ecuadorian... So - I can't speak for the rest of Freytags offerings, but, if you want to get someone some of the best roses they might ever receive IN THEIR LIFE call Freytags. Think it was $75 for dozen roses arranged, $35 for last min delivery in town - seemed expensive to me for some flowers but it was 4pm day of so I paid it - I'm telling you you get what you pay for here. Again, she said out of all the roses she's ever gotten she had never gotten roses as beautiful as these. So if youre trying to basically give someone some of the best flowers they'll ever receive in their life - pick freytags pay the money. They're the real deal. Very satisfied,...

I’d like to say I’m the person that shops at Freytag’s, but I’m not. My husband does and he has pretty great taste in picking a florist. All the gifts I’ve received from him for special occasions or “just because” have been beautiful. The flowers last forever and brighten my home. Avoid the 1-800 flower places and SHOP LOCAL!
