It's always a great shopping experience. Hobby Lobby is always clean, organised, well stocked, and orderly. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. And, their restrooms are always immaculate. There is always a 40% off coupon online, every week, that you can use toward one regularly priced item, everyday. And, they allow well behaved dogs
After reading some of the other reviews, I feel that I must add a comment regarding their Customer Service: I have been going to this store since it first opened, many years ago. And, while I have had the occasional one bad apple, for the most part, I have received exceptionally excellent service. I would be extremely hesitant of giving less of a review based the bad service of one individual, from one visit...unless it was horrific, our unless I had addressed the issue, and my concerns were just dismissed. But, THAT'S ME.
From my asking questions about products, to my needing assistance finding something, to be walked to what I'm looking for, to checking out, the employees have always been at or above a standard of excellence in their quality of service. Their staff actually know the products of their departments, in every department that they are tending to...which what I expect and as it should be, and usually isn't of most other establishments.
I abhor shopping, especially in a place where service is bad. Hobby Lobby, thought, and this one in particular, is one of the very few places that I actually enjoy, especially for their exceptionally high quality of service.
Especially in a day and time where most places have subscribed to a lot lesser as their standard, like their competitors, it is refreshing to leave an establishment, such as this one, still feeling happy...like I haven't wasted my money, but like I have invested toward the salaries of those who've actually strived toward earning it, and earning my repeated service. KUDOS to Hobby Lobby for continually remaining to be an exceptionally higher standard...
Read moreI go to Hobby Lobby a lot for pens and pencils but primarily for paper. Card stock comic paper. Lately these stores are a disorganized mess. My rating of 3 is not for this store only. Its all of them I've been to. Trying to find the pencils in one isle, then paper in another, and finally pens in a third area. You feel like the Goonies kids trying to find the treasure of a one eyed pirate. I swear that the people designing the layout of these stores are trying to keep artists out of the store. Its working. If the clutter and lack of organization doesn't get you....just buying the items will. Oh man. You wait in line. The cashier decides to come back to the register and do their job for a bit. Each person undergoes a series of questions like were in a detective movie and they know where Jimmy Tulip is hiding out. RING UP THE GLASS TURTLE AND MOVE THEM OUT. What are you going to do though? These guys are really the only game in town unless I start ordering from the internet. Might as well. Waiting for a week to get my paper delivered might give me more time to consider not going to Hobby...
Read moreCute items but customer service is TRASH! One employee with red braids and a dirty, knock off LV mask refused to assist me completely when I asked the price of an item. An older lady with dark hair looked her nose at me and implied I had pulled off the tags. She called another lady who found the item and gave me a price based off of a similar item and told me to go back to the dark haired, older lady to get the price adjustment. When I went back up to the front, Samantha intercepted me and gave me a price that was three times the amount the other lady provided me. After going back and forth for a few minutes, the manager who witnessed the whole thing finally intervened and honored the price initial price provided to me. After The whole interaction made me feel super uncomfortable. I used to love to come in before my workout and browse to come up with ideas for my home and various projects but I'm honestly going to pass...
