This has been my go-to massage place for over 4 years. Iāve taken many out-of-town guests to this spot. I hadnāt been in a few months because I was in the third trimester of my pregnancy, and it was uncomfortable for me to lie down. Today, I braved treating my 1-month, weary postpartum body to a massage and learned they are under new management.
If visual privacy is important to you, youāll be happy to learn they built wall partitions instead of hanging curtains between the rooms. My massage therapist was good, with seemingly more focus on acupressure than before. It was nice that he didnāt leave the room to dispose of the foot water in the middle of my session. They seem to be running a special combo for $40/one hour massage (instead of $50).
The reason for this lower review is because they wouldnāt honor my loyalty card. ššššš Like a kid whoās worked hard for their Halloween candy, after 15 massages, I was very excited to finally earn a free 1-hour massage. However, the woman at the front desk refused to honor my card, made me pay for my massage, and started a new loyalty cardāwith the same stamp as the old management! She said she didnāt make the rules and that the owner was in China so we couldnāt ask her.
Unfortunately, I probably wonāt keep coming back to this place. In the midst of my long, 15-massage tenure here, I moved further north. I had continued to come here due to my loyalty card, but it appears the loyalty...

I was very flexiable with any day that works for the company. The sweet lady over the phone stated they can only make appts a day in advance. Not 2 weeks in advance. I asked why and this is what I received⦠āMake your reservations two weeks in advance. If a masseuse quits, you won't be able to recruit new masseuses and won't have anyone to massage you. That will disrupt your plans and make you even more angry. Business is slow right now. Masseuses are always unstable. If they can't make money, they'll quit immediately, leaving the boss no chance to hire new masseuses.ā
While the staff member who answered the phone was kind and apologetic, my overall short experience with this business was extremely disappointing ā and that comes down to the owner/management. Iāve never encountered a business so unwilling to take responsibility for issues clearly within their scope. Rather than working to resolve the situation or offer any flexibility, the burden was placed entirely on me, the potential customer. Running a business comes with challenges, but passing those challenges off to customers is not the solution. If you're going to operate in this industry, professionalism and accountability should be a priority ā especially...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis massage shop is one of the best I've been to. My friend and I have purchased massages in several states. This shop in Austin and their employees are amazing. We experienced a very friendly and professional staff who were service oriented. We received massages from Andy, who was skilled and gave us massages that felt healing and restorative. The ambiance was soothing, sheets were soft, and the techniques/pressure he used was fantastic. We were very pleased with our experience there. You can't go wrong with any of their staff that you book with. We especially had repeatedly good experiences with Andy, as I mentioned before. I would recommend everyone to request him in the future. His technique was incredible. He listened well and made adjustments according to our personal preferences. He was professional and extremely skilled. We plan to visit this massage shop often when we are in Texas. It will be the first stop on our trip when we...
