Saw this place from a food influencer on instagram.

Just an fyi this restaurant is not dog friendly (we take our dog to most casual bars and restaurants).

The drinks our counter service and they will give you a number for your food order which they will then bring out to you.

The Vietnamese coffee was really good, if you like sweet coffee like I do. My gf got the prickly pear lemonade which was pretty tart.

They serve breakfast tacos until 2 and start selling “full” pizza pies at 2, between 11-2 they sell “big slices” for $10.

I ordered at 1:50 so I ordered a breakfast taco and two pizzas to be started at 2 when the ordering technically opened.

I got a bacon, egg and cheese taco which was okay, but had probably been sitting for about 30 mins since I got the first part of our food at 2:25. The cheese on the taco was melted like it had been sitting a minute. Not sure about fresh but how I got it not worth the $6 price tag.

We ordered two pizzas to share and try. The Maglia Rosa (which is basically a Margarita pizza) and the Meatier (meat lovers-ish, pepperoni, bacon and sausage). Both pizzas definitely needed more sauce, especially the Maglia- was pretty dry for a margarita pizza, mostly crust and dough forward. The toppings on the Meatier were good but pizza was also very dry. These were personal size 4 slice pizzas and at $16 and $17 I expected much more from these.

Needless to say wouldn’t recommend this spot for pizza, especially when you can go a couple blocks away to Home Slice.

The inside is very soco vibes though with a very large selection of wine and what looked like a decent selection of coffee. Possibly a work from home kind of place.

They also have a square rewards system, every dollar is a reward point. So I spent $78 and got $7.8 in rewards dollars for ...

The first thing I noticed at the Meteor was their brightly illuminated tagline beneath their sign which read: ESPRESSO CHAMPAGNE CHAIN LUBE

I thought I had unwittingly stumbled into a game of “one of these things is not like the other,” only to discover there actually is a bike shop in the rear of the establishment.

This set the stage for an evening where I found myself confused about the general theme of the restaurant. The array of espresso equipment, pizza oven, just 4 beers on tap, towering shelves of wine bottles for retail purchase, and a large refrigerator of local brews about 30 feet from the main register, only raised additional question marks as to what the intent was of the establishment. Equal parts beer and wine store, coffee shop, pizza place, and… bike service center?

This was almost all forgiven since there was an engaging and interactive trivia night occurring when I was there, however, my experience quickly took a turn for the worse when our pizza arrived. It had great promise, the crust was excellent, nice crunch on the outside and chew in the inside, with a pleasing sourdough note, as well as very fresh toppings. However, the pizza was also an oozing soggy mess, as if an entire bottle of oil were poured atop the pie, the pizza would be truly great if it weren’t for this unfortunate inclusion, but it went from great to almost inedible due to this one mistake.

Good atmosphere, confusing theme, soggy...

I come here all the time and I never reviewed it. This place rocks. The coffee and all the caffeine drinks are really quality and the baristas are experienced and super nice. They have a good menu for cocktails, wine, beer if you want it. The snacks they have are surprisingly really quality and delicious. The Caesar salad yall...dayum! This is not typical coffee shop food the food is like...gooooood. Also the atmosphere is cozy and cool at the same time and there's like a more worky side along the windows, and more dining vibe at the short tables, and a collaborative space at the high tables to the left when you walk in. Whether you come to get some work done, eat a nice lunch, or meet someone up for a a drink this is the spot. Really really, badass spot. Also there's a bike shop next door if you need some work done on your bike. Oh and! There's an outdoor space out back. I just started coming this summer so I haven't used it yet 😅 Seriously love this spot. I will say it's on the expensive side if you're middle class. But if you can afford to treat yourself once a week then you...

The Meteor was fantastic. The food was great. I had the Meteor burger and a caramel coffee. The taste of my burger was euphoric✨and the coffee was immaculate!
