The Arboretum — Attraction in Austin

No doubt is a good location. But nothing went smooth since we came in. We bought a romance package which should contain 2 additional breakfast, champagne, chocolate strawberries. And we reserved a baby crib. Everything should be in place upon arrival this is what it said in email. We tripled confirmed with front desk and she finally found we bought the package. Waited for 2 hrs after telling them twice they finally came. Baby crib was delivered but no set up. Don't know if we are too picky but this is actually the first time it's not set up. 2nd day, we went to breakfast informing them we have the package. They said we can order at coffee shop. So we went, coffee shop then confirmed with front desk (again, waiting for double confirming) she said we should have $34 credit to use in both restaurants. So we went back again, waiting at the reception for 10 mins ( i saw only one person serving) then we finally were seated. Front desk is impatient, waitress didn't provide kids forks or spoons.Service part I will give 0 stars if there is one to choose. Hardware wise, it's below average for this price range.($220 per night), bad design for the shower room, it made easy for wetting the floor of bathroom. Bathroom ceiling paint is popping up due to humidity. Caulking had crack... so I give it 2 stars so average out it's 1 star. Recently we are comparing hotels in the same level in Austin recently since we come so often. Very obvious which credit card we should be apply for. In short: not...

I'm new to Austin and the General Arboretum area. It's kinda Cool, but in dire need of a facelift. It's also very Pricey. For example: $16 + dollars for one person, for a "LITTLE" Hamburger, "LITTLE" Fries, and a Small milkshake, really? Thanks 5 Guys. Anyway, I also went to the Tapioca coffee cafe on 2 different occasions. I went once in the day, and once in the late afternoon. Both times there was No Hot coffee ready. I had to wait for them to make the coffee! (Twice). They advertise as a coffee joint right? Yet, no hot coffee was ready, only iced. What's that about? Besides that, the coffee is Not Good as far as Selection and Quality. They offer only ONE selection of Hot coffee. One can dress up a coffee anyway they choose however, still, the coffee ITSELF, tasted like hotel coffee, weak and of little flavor. It's nothing worth returning for, especially, for the price. It is what it is folks... As for me; I will not be going back to Either of those...

Visited the Estancia Brazilian Steakhouse located within this marketplace on Saturday June 18, 2022. We were Celebrating a birthday and this was our first time visiting this particular restaurant. I must say this 5-star restaurant is worth the 5 star rating and then some! The food was amazing! The salad bar was super fresh! The 4-5 choices of meat servings (roasted lamb chops from a rack. Bacon-wrapped roasted beef bites, sliced sirloin steak from a roast, shaved roast beef, etc.)Everthing was was fresh and hot. I loved the atmosphere, soft and relaxed. The wait staff were gracious and accommodating providing impeccable service! Truly a first-class restaurant!
