As a fifth-generation sushi chef with a deep-rooted appreciation for the art of sushi, I recently had the privilege of dining at this exquisite establishment, and I must say, it was a truly remarkable experience that compelled me to share my thoughts.
The roll I savored was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Its presentation was a testament to the chef's meticulous craftsmanship, with each piece assembled as if it were a work of art. The vibrant colors of the ingredients contrasted beautifully against the pristine white plate, showcasing the chef's attention to detail.
The taste, oh, the taste! It was a harmonious symphony of flavors that danced across my palate. The freshest of fish, expertly sourced and expertly sliced, offered a burst of oceanic essence in every bite. The rice, perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of vinegar, provided a delightful contrast to the richness of the fish. The subtle hints of wasabi and soy sauce elevated the entire experience, adding a layer of complexity to each morsel.
Now, let's talk texture. The fish practically melted in my mouth, a testament to its unparalleled freshness. The rice was impeccably firm yet tender, a feat only achieved through years of mastery. Every bite was an exploration of texture, a journey through the delicate interplay of ingredients.
And the staff, they were a reflection of the chef's dedication to excellence. Attentive, knowledgeable, and gracious, they enhanced the overall experience. Their passion for the culinary arts was evident in their service, making me feel truly appreciated as a connoisseur of fine sushi.
My journey to becoming a top sushi food critic has been guided by the wisdom of the best chefs in Japan, and I can confidently say that this restaurant lives up to the highest standards of Japanese cuisine. Many establishments seek my opinion, for a single positive review from me ensures their restaurant will always be full. In this case, I wholeheartedly endorse this dining experience, a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to the art of sushi. It is a culinary gem that deserves recognition on the...
Read moreThis place has got to be hands down my favorite sushi restaurant I've tried here in the northern Austin area (and that's saying a lot!)
Immediately upon entry, the staff were very welcoming, attentive, and appreciative towards me and my party. While we were reviewing the menu, they had answered any and all questions we had and provided amazing suggestions (would definitely recommend trying the Ahi Tower, it's absolutely incredible). We received our food quick and upon our first bite, we could taste how fresh and well put-together the rolls were. I am not exaggerating when I say literally every roll we ordered (9 total!) was amazing and I wish I had a bigger belly to try more.
The atmosphere itself is very cozy with limited seating on the main floor and additional seating in the loft which is great for a bit of extra privacy.
Overall, if you're looking for a sushi restaurant to try, this is the one and I will absolutely be...

No bottled soy sauce, only small plastic containers are provided. Edamame is serve in Styrofoam.
No bathrooms, you have to leave the place and walk thorough the Arboretum to use outside entry public restrooms.
