Horrendous experience. Sat around for fifteen minutes before a woman came up and demanded what I wanted. I told her I was there to get measured and order a suit for a wedding coming up in a few weeks upon which she angrily and repeatedly questioned why I had waited so long (it was none of her business what personal emergencies I was dealing with), and then proceeded to rudely move me around while taking haphazard measurements. She then made a big show about how the suit I needed "was not available" in the store or anywhere online, and that I was just too late. After continuing this drama for a few minutes she disappears and comes back with a different brand suit but in supposedly the same color as the one I needed to order and says that I was lucky enough to have come when this alternative was in stock. Exasperated, I told her to ring it up. As she's ringing it up she makes another big show about how lucky I am and that I was saving so much money compared to my previous suit. Once I got home I compared my bill with the price of the suit I was supposed to order and surprise surprise, the suit she sold me was over $100 more expensive than the one I was supposed to order. Not only that, the suit she gave me with the supposedly same color scheme was completely different to the one I needed. The pièce de résistance? The suit I needed to order was available on their website and for over $100 less than what I was extorted for. If you're in the market for a suit, I'd encourage you to save your dignity and...
Read moreIf you're looking for a tuxedo and don't have a clue on what the protocols and requirements for wearing one ... you are in luck. Dillion at Jos A Bank will set you up in every way. I went there to look at tuxedos (not knowing diddly squat what I was looking for or what). After telling Dillion that I was going to a formal event out of country and needed a tux he took it from there. He gave me so much information about the whys and what's when wearing a tux that it became apparent if left to my own devices, I would have shown up as someone who didn't have a clue about tuxedo "wearing and appearance" rules... Lol. And worse, embarrass my wife. So, bottom line is if you need all the advice, some advice or no advice on tuxedos, Dillion is the go to guy period. The selection, tailoring, quality and everything in-between is top notch. He will make sure you look your very best for the occasion. I know some folks may take this as a newbie review on tux buying and you would be correct. This is for all the other guys that get a surprise "we're going to a black tie event" and then you hear the word tuxedo... and the sweating starts. Go to Jos A Bank and relax, ask questions and know that you will still look great when you get buried in it lol .. Thanks again Dillion for all of your help, advice and...
Read moreMy fiance and I visited Jos A. Bank on March 21, 2024, hoping to find attire for our upcoming wedding. However, our experience left much to be desired.
Upon entering the store, we were not greeted, despite spending over ten minutes browsing. Eventually, I had to approach one of the associates to request assistance. Disappointingly, only one out of the two associates working responded, stating they would help us after finishing their task in the back. This lack of immediate attention and disregard for our presence was disheartening.
The customer service we encountered could have been better. It's unfortunate even to consider the possibility that our minority status may have influenced our treatment, but the thought lingers uncomfortably. Regardless, every customer deserves to be treated with respect and attentiveness.
Overall, our visit to Jos A. Bank could have been better. We left the store feeling undervalued and unappreciated. It's disheartening to have such an experience, especially when planning an important event like our wedding. Improvement in customer service and reevaluating attitudes towards all customers, regardless of background, are...
