Worst theater I have ever been to. I have been to this theater twice and both times were pretty bad. The first was probably several years ago. Twenty minutes before the end of the movie, the reel started to melt and we were unable to finish watching the movie. We were given a refund but that's all. Not even an apology. Totally ruined my evening. The next visit was about two months ago. Date night with my husband. We don't get many because it's expensive to get a sitter. Half way thru the movie it just stops. We all just sit there for about 10 minutes thinking someone is fixing it. Finally my husband goes to the lobby to see what was happening with the movie. Nobody had any idea. No one even knew it stopped. Another 10 minutes later, an employee comes in and says it's going to take about 15 more minutes because they have to reboot the projector. 20 more minutes pass and we decide to just leave. We asked for a refund and the guy working had no idea what he was doing. It took him 10 minutes to get the register open. Again, we did not even receive an apology. Terrible...
Read moreThey are constantly overcharging my child for the price of his ticket! He is only 12, but is very tall for his age (5'8" to be exact). Every time he goes to the movies with a group of his friends, he tells them "one child ticket for (movie name)", and every time they keep charging him the adult price ticket because they don't believe he is only 12!!! I tried to call there to speak to a manager and only ever am able to reach the pre-recorded movie line. It is ridiculous! It's getting to the point where he is going to have to start showing them his birth certificate there just so he doesn't get discriminated for his height, which is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!! Gaylord Cinemas, you should be ashamed of yourselves - price gouging a 12-year-old!!! If you're going to consider a 12-year-old an adult, then you need to update the ages on your website so it's not false...
Read moreIt's a movie theater and so high priced snacks are expected but considering the theater feels out dated, the prices seem too modern. Prices raised to AMC pricing but no updates made in seats or theater technology.
If it was my small town theater I'd look to offer some more options in food and possibly family nights, not just a senior day. Maybe setup a smaller theater not used much for table\bar chair seating so pizza and tickets for 4 for $30 could help bring in more families. Also add a classic movie night on Tuesday or Wednesday for cheaper ticket price for teens that never got to see something like ET in theaters. Or offer a premium seating theater for $13-15 a ticket to help pay for recliners and possibly adult ages only for...
