Switching to paying by app exclusively is a bad idea!! Not everyone has: 1) a smartphone 2) good cell service 3) space on their phone for a new app 4) the tech savvy to set up a new account. I don't take the ferry often so needing to keep an app on my phone for the MAYBE twice a year I'll need it sucks. An app must be cheaper than maintaining the machines, which if I was reviewing them on their own would be a solid two stars because they could be slow to work and often at least one machine would be down.
