Long overdue review …J. Tabor Jewelers has been our trusted jeweler for multiple generations of gifts, designs and repairs. They assisted my Stepdad on nearly every holiday and special occasion to choose gives for my Mom. They helped my Husband nervously choose a beautiful engagement ring and then reset diamonds from my first wedding ring (widowed) into special wedding bands that honored my past to compliment my second marriage engagement ring. More recently they set the solitaire diamond from my original wedding ring that they had made into a necklace for me years before when I passed it down to my son for his wife’s engagement ring. We could not imagine trusting anyone but J. Tabor Jewelers to handle and re-work these special pieces. Tabor is a skilled artist and Dee Dee’s patience in getting us exactly what we have envisioned EVERY TIME we are looking for something is unparalleled! There are so many other stories of times we have worked with them, but know your family heirlooms, your watch that needs repair or the money you have saved for that special engagement ring are all valued, appreciated and safe with them. The owner and employees at J Tabor Jewelers go above and beyond what i expected. My wife and i took her grandmother's wedding ring in to have fix and cleaned a few days before Christmas i believe we got it back on the 23rd or the 24th of December the it was fixed and cleaned up better then expected. I young lady was helping me and the place had several other customers in the shop. The owner working with several customers took the time out to stop for a few seconds come over and thank me and wish me a Merry Christmas. We put are trust in him fixing the ring and he did a wonderful job. Maybe it cost a little more them others. But to my wife this ring is priceless. He is top notch and trustworthy. I had two onyx stones from men's rings. One was my father's that had a mine cut diamond that he removed from a Japanese sword/dagger (WWII spoils of war) the other stone was mounted in a ring w/ a gold letter M given to me on my 16th birthday. Tabor mounted these two stones in a custom designed pendant for a gift to be given as a family heirloom to my only niece and family heir.
