For a small to medium size park there's a lot of nostalgia like feelings here..duck pond, nice track for walking or jogging with an open field that invites quite anything, and sometimes they have dog frisbee competitions. There's also bball and tennis courts up above in the community building plaza. It's walking distance to downtown Ball ground, and all of it is worth the time. It could be seen as romantic, quaint, and having a sense of genuineness to it, although it perhaps mimicks the appeal in some ways of the straight forward public city...
Read moreThis is such a beautiful spot just off the downtown strip. The playground and swings are perfect for all ages with lots of shaded area and pavilions around it. The new walking trail is a great area for all types of workouts and play. The sign says 10 laps around is 3 miles but the math is a little off and it's more like 2.7 miles. The bathrooms are super clean and the city does a great job of keeping the whole area picked up and tidy. Highly recommend it as a stop to kill some time or burn...
