Sat at the bar by myself after instructed to seat myself by the girl at the door. Six minutes later, I'm acknowledged by someone who I'm assuming is my server asking if I've had my order taken yet. I haven't even been given a menu at this point. He promptly grabs me a water and then disappears.

12 minutes later he comes to take my order, which he then passes off to another girl. They seem incredibly disorganized and no one seems to know who is in charge of what area. The man that wrote the glowing review today is sitting at the bar as well and must be in a different dimension than me because it's been another 3 minutes and the girl that received my order handed off to her has come to ask what my order was again.

They're busy and I know they recently opened, but you would think that's when service would be at it's best as they're trying to put out their best first impression, but so far it isn't working. There doesn't seem to be anyone in particular actually waiting on anyone at the bar as I've now witnessed 3 different people take orders and it just seems to be whoever is currently there at that particular moment.

20 minutes later, received my food. It was ok, nothing special. Underneath my eggs I discovered what appeared to be pieces of green pepper or jalapeno. After nearly 45 minutes, I wasn't about to send it back. I asked afterwards if anything in my order had green items in it and they said it didn't, but assured me it was from the prep station and not a dirty plate. They did apologize, but that's as far as it went.

Needless to say, I'd give this a hard pass. Save yourself 45 minutes and just go to Waffle House for faster service, same...

My wife and I including our two year old son came to eat today (February 16th 2025) we wanted to try the place out, we had never eaten here before. We arrive, walk in, and are placed on the wait list ( first in line ) it was crowded inside so not much of a choice but to sit on the bench outside, it was cold but tolerable. We sat and watched as three more parties went inside but didn’t come back out. As 20 min passes by I figure I better walk in to see what the wait time is now because my son was getting upset and thirsty. To my surprise when walking in the old wait list had been tossed I guess and those three parties that had came in were sitting at tables ordering or about to be seated. I asked what happened to the wait list and we were first so why weren’t we seated in the order people came in. I was told since there was a wait inside they were seated, the wait inside was the three parties that came in after us (doest’t make any since) yet we are sitting outside, right outside the door on the bench…. In the cold…. The hostess was clueless and acted like she had never seen us before. Needless to say we never got to eat and we will never be back…. Probably good food and service but the hostess needs some work for sure, just a lot of disrespect especially with a 2 year old child wanting breakfast, ( his favorite ). Ended up going to Waffle House… great...

I was so excited to learn we were getting a breakfast place in town! We gave it a try a while back and it was quite expensive for what it was. The food was just ok. The decor is cute but the lighting is harsh, over bright daytime bulbs.

I tried again today and it was terrible. My poached eggs and avocado was ok but the american cheese was unexpected. I would have asked to change that if it was named on the menu. The bisquit and gravy was coagulated and barely warm and the potatos had clearly been sitting out a long time, like starting to shrivel. The steak and eggs the steak was very small, over cooked and gummy. The ham and cheese omelet was barely warm and by the looks and texture of the roll/bisquit, it had sat a while too.

The server was sweet but forgot drinks. Had to ask for a straw for a kid cup and was given a broken straw for another drink and had to ask for silverware after the food was served.

Just so incredibly disappointed that we have a barely diner quality breakfast place and it is so expensive. I wouldn 't begrudge the quality if the prices aligned but they do not. I really wish the owners, who own and have owned several local restaurants, had taken this one in a better direction. I wish the young...

Stopped in for a late brunch on a Saturday in October. The decor was cute. The servers were very responsive and checked in often. We got biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, French toast, and potatoes and grits. The Benedict was among the best I’ve had. Very rich and seasoned well. The potatoes were a welcome surprise. I’m used to overly fried or underwhelmingly roasted potatoes from brunch spots. These were fried in a very tasty batter that was well seasoned and were just crunchy enough without being too much. These biscuits and gravy were good, though I could have used a little more seasoning and perhaps a little more sausage flavor in the gravy itself. The French toast wasn’t as crispy as I would have liked, but was still flavorful. The cheese grits were better than average. I would definitely drop in and give the Benedict and potatoes a try, as I will do next time I’m back in town.

I thought I would try this (fairly) new restaurant in Ball Ground for breakfast this morning. I was the first customer of the day. The waitress was friendly and attentive, with a nice smile. My coffee, while probably in a smaller cup than other restaurants, was never empty. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and I will have to say, I believe this was the best Eggs Benedict in Ball Ground. Then again, it's probably the ONLY Eggs Benedict in Ball Ground. The atmosphere was soothing to me. Not the loud, random Juke Box of WH, but a more smooth, easy listening background music. I hope to be back some day.
