Ball Ground City Hall — Local services in Ball Ground

On October 5, 2024 I was involved in an auto accident in Ball Ground, Georgia.

Both cars ended up side by side in the center of Old Hwy 5.

Officer Josh Cohen, was the responding officer on scene. Officer Cohen was extremely professional and displayed excellent intra-personal skills throughout this challenging incident.

Having lived in Ball Ground for over 10 years it is a most refreshing feeling to know that the City of Ball Ground and our Chief of Police are choosing true professionals to “Protect & Serve” us residents.

Officer Matt Young went above and beyond the call of duty to help us when we became stranded on the side of the road in our motor home. We were 5hrs waiting for help from Good sams and Andy was able to get us to a safe place a mile down the road within an hour. A very courteous caring officer. There should be more like him on the streets. We will forever remember this officer and how gracious the residents of Ball ground Ga are....

Do not travel anywhere near this place with a tag that might be even close to expiring. They are not sure what a proper lane change is and will write a ticket for looking the wrong way. I drive 20 miles out of my way to not pass thought this place in my...
