I’ve been a client of Amanda’s for years and never had a problem. She does great with my color and cut. She was going out of town for Fall Break and I was in dire need of cut and color. Brittany was recommended by the lady who booked me. I went in told her exactly what I wanted hair color chocolate brown with caramel highlights. I ended up with chocolate hair color with the crayon color red highlights. Brittany left that afternoon after my hair appointment on fall break I was told when I finally reached someone after my sixth attempt at calling. So I was told Kaylee could fix it the next day. I drove all the way to Ball Ground again, which is 30 minutes one way from my house. My hair didn’t look much different when I left the second time. I was told by Kaylee that they should be able to rinse the color out of the highlights and they’d have to order a product to do that and should be able to fix it midweek. Well I got a message later from Kaylee saying she couldn’t fix it because only Brittany could and it would probably have to be bleached again. Seriously!!!! Wow!!! If you’d like to feel like your hair is being ripped out I highly reduce immense Kaylee and if you like the total opposite color of the highlights you were asking for I recommend Brittany. It’s now overa week and a half larder and I got a phone call from the owner today saying no refunds and Brittany could attempt to fix my hair again. Oh and if I wanted someone else I’m the salon to fix it I would have to pay them on top of what I already paid Brittany. Ridiculous!!! I gave them two attempts to get my hair right and Brittany sure isn’t touching it again. It’s apready the wrong color and I don’t want my hair damaged from more bleaching. Never again! Needless to say I won’t be going back to this...

I've debated back and forth about leaving this review because perhaps as a friend and former employee I am biased, but this salon is amazing, and I'm a psycho perfectionist over my hair so not even for my besties would I sacrifice my beloved locks. Fortunately, I don't have to sacrifice a thing, because with Parlour & Main I get to have my perfectly cut and colored coif and my besties doing it too. Every stylist there genuinely cares about each of their clients' experiences and wants to make sure they leave looking and feeling better than when they arrived. I've gone to this salon since it opened it's doors and I have always left with an amazing cut and beautiful color that often prompts people to stop me and ask who does my hair and how they can get an appointment when out and about. While these stylists don't claim to have any special powers, what they do with hair is magic. Even after having surgery last year that prompted hair loss, they helped me achieve a look that took me from boy to bombshell blonde with long, lustrous extensions and I couldn't be more grateful. Having also been a previous employee, I can honestly say the integrity of these women is incredible and they are willing to go above and beyond to help make their clients happy, of course when given the chance by the client, but I will keep my comments to myself in that regard. I’ve waited to write a review on this, but I’ve been so upset with the outcome that I felt the need to go ahead and write a review. I got my hair done late October. Before that, I hadn’t had my hair dyed since the beginning of March and I had it professionally done dark brown at another salon. I came into my appointment and showed a picture of my hair from the previous year (red with some blonde in the front and on the ends). I was told this was pretty much impossible, even though I’ve had this done previously. They said they would try their best so I put my trust in them. It wasn’t until half way through dying my hair I realized they weren’t even using bleach. Of course you can’t get my hair to what I want without bleach. Only lightener was used. At the end of my appointment I heard other stylists whispering saying things like “I don’t think she likes it” and then everyone in the room started telling me how great it looked. While it did turn out good, it wasn’t near what I asked for and I was disappointed to pay $220 for something no where near what I wanted. I still gave a good tip and paid with no complaints because they have their prices listed. I just couldn’t understand why they didn’t even try to do what I wanted.
