Was excited when I learned a new place opened in my neighborhood, only to find out it is a disappointment. Drinks are way too pricy. As others have stated, the boba is way too pricy and up charges on pearls. I might as well walk to HHtea (which I know has its own management issues, but at least I'll get a better deal). The time I ordered Boba, I waited 40 whole minutes for my drink to come out. My friend's came out after 20, and I waited giving them the benefit of the doubt. They do not give receipts so if they lose the one cashier copy with your order you'll sit there waiting. Then, I went up and asked and it was because the cashier's changed shifts right after my order. Just not really a good experience. I went one more time to give them a chance again and ordered their Juneteenth themed drink. It was good, but like even Starbucks gives you a better portion of drink and dresses it up more. I got an overly sweet frapuccino for the same price or more than Starbucks. This time I waited 25 minutes. I suppose that was an improvement...the atmosphere was nice with the swings, but once you're swinging for 40 minutes waiting for a mediocre drink. The charm...

This is my second visit this week. Now that I think about it, a customer who was waiting when I came the first time said, "Have a seat. This will take half an hour" and I was confused.
Now I understand. My first visit took 20 minutes for a flat white. Second visit was also 20 minutes.
While the atmosphere is nice, with outside seating, they are under equipped and understaffed to handle a regular volume of customers. There is only one espresso machine and one barista, and on my second visit they had a nice gentleman running around and serving food.
While I want to support independently own business and not go to Starbucks, unless I have 45 minutes to sit and have a cup of coffee, I will unfortunately need to go elsewhere.

Read moreWe initially went in for a pick me up caffeine kick but saw their slush/boba options. I couldn't decide between the Thai iced tea and the passion fruit slush. So I decided to go with the Thai iced tea first and order the passion fruit on the way out since it was a hot day and we were heading to the park. Plus if the Thai tea didn't hit then I would know not to get the passion fruit (I love a good Thai iced tea but they are not all built the same iykyk). I also got their swiss ham and apple panini to go with my tea. The panini was delicious and the Thai tea was not overly sweet or milky which I LOVED. I was a little worried about the sweetness because I got the regular sugar level of 100%. My friends ordered the tropical and passion fruit slushes and were in love so I couldn't wait to get mine. I got my passion fruit boba with mango and Lychee jellies at a 50% sweetness. IT GAVE WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GIVE. I'll be back for the coffee and I want to try the passion fruit with zero sugar....
