I would give Canton Nails 0 stars if I could. I am absolutely appalled at the way I was treated by Winston. Within 24 hours of my dip manicure (with tips) my pointer finger nail bumped against someone’s arm and ripped off (including part of my real nail) I thought this was strange but figured I’d get it fixed once it had healed. One day later I was picking something up when my ring finger nail broke off, again tearing part of my real nail with it. It’s been two days since getting my nails done and I now have two broken nails. At this point, I went into the salon and explained to winston that I would like them taken off and a refund. He refused to give me a refund because “it was my fault I wasn’t careful with my long nails”. I have been getting long nails for over ten years and have never had this problem. He informed me that I should’ve told the nail tech to make them thicker so they were stronger if I wanted them long. I explained that I shouldn’t have to tell a nail tech how to do their job. Now I’m left with two bleeding nails and the rest are short and uneven. He was extremely rude and I am shocked at the way I was treated. I will not be returning. I spent over $100 between my nails and a pedicure. Canton Nails couldn’t even reimburse me for my nails or the pain that was caused due to poorly done dip nails. Even if they hadn’t broken they were bumpy and uneven. This was the biggest waste of money. Hopefully I can help you avoid making the same mistake I did by going to...
Read moreReally dirty! I didn't see them disinfect anything! The pedicurist used a dirty yellowing plastic scrubber on me and used the same pre-used, probably cost a dollar scrubber to "clean" the metal grater used to scrape my calluses. My toenails immediately itch after the procedure. All of the tools were being traded between clients and the place was packed. I know it's the holidays but... Gross. I feel like I probably am at risk for a skin infection, warts, fungus... And maybe should get a hepatitis test. Also they kept messing up my polish (ripples, bumps etc) and of course we're annoyed to fix bc they were slammed. Maybe they should go by appointment only if they can't afford to use new disposables and sterilize metal equipment for each client. Files and buffers were dirty and used on everyone as well. Sterilizing machine was unused and dripping with goo. Only towels came out of...
Read moreHad been coming here since the winter. Went in today because a few of my nails chipped a 3 days after getting an acrylic manicure fill. Tiffany fixed them, and when I was sitting with my hands in the LED lamp, she came over with a new customer and said "ok, you're done". I asked if I could have more time under the lamp and move to a different seat, since the entire reason I came back in was because the color chipped, and she basically said no and that I'd had enough time. When I got to the car I noticed that 2 of my nails were smudged. I was so annoyed and short for time so I just went home.
Between this and the consistent scheduling issues, (making an appointment with a nail tech and not being able to see that person) I will probably just start going...
