Honestly, the name is a bit deceptive. Sure, they have cranberry sweets, but they also have sweets in just about every other fruit you can name. And wine or beer sweets. And chocolate. And snacks. And bath and body items…okay, you get the idea.

As far as the sugary goods go, their pate de fruit is oft spotted at specialty stores around Oregon, and the treat that originally introduced me to Cranberry Sweets. It is excellent! They offer plenty of prepackaged varieties and mixes, but since you’re at the store, take advantage of the counter where they have near 20 flavors you can mix and match, many not available elsewhere! I especially love the raspberry and Marionberry flavors, but you’ll be pleased with any. They even have a few sour tart varieties.

They also sell chocolates, again with the option of prepackaged or choose your own. I especially enjoyed their well made caramel and truffles.

They had a little “oops” section in the back corner with discounted treats, and the right hand side of the store has non-edibles like soaps, lotions, kitchen items like towels, plates, and mugs, and just all sorts of goodies! There are samples out and I didn’t try one bad thing except the cheddar fudge, but…well, you can’t create hits all the time, and it did make me laugh! Prices are reasonable, employees are friendly, and while parking is only available along the street, we easily found a spot and you should be good except at the height of tourist season. Besides, this is a darling little downtown, so if you have to park far away no biggie - you can explore the other cute shops in the area.

Overall, a visit to Bandon ought to include a stop at Cranberry Sweets. Treat yourself and grab some goodies...

Stopped in here while wandering around Old Town in hopes of finding something yummy. There's a huge variety of things, including chocolates and fudges, jams and jellies, chocolate-covered nuts and berries, popcorn balls, saltwater taffy, and more. They have samples of quite a few things too. The creamy green mints were by far my favorite, as well as the white chocolate bark with cranberries. I also got a bag of assorted taffy flavors. And y'all, I had never conceived of such a thing as cheese fudge, but that apparently exists, and it's strangely good. It may smell like Cheetos, but it's sweet and has the classic melt-in-your-mouth fudge texture. I didn't buy any at the time, but just yesterday I went and placed an online order (love that you can do that) and ordered more of the green mints and went ahead and got some cheese fudge too. I'll definitely be stopping here again next time I'm in Bandon...

Cranberry Sweets is an essential stop if you’re visiting Bandon. This sweets shop does more than just cranberry treats; they’ve got chocolates, jams, candied and flavored popcorn, truffles, and a small section for gifts. I’m reasonably certain that all the candies are hand-made and I can assure you that they’re all delicious. There’s always an assortment of sampling trays scattered throughout the store, too. Prices are a bit high, but reasonable considering the treats are hand-made, but be prepared for things like chocolate truffles to be something like $2.50 each. You get what you pay for though, there probably isn’t a bad thing in the whole store. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always offering samples. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd open anything in the store for you to try. You can’t have a vacation without snacks and treats, so...

Alright y'all this is the "SPOT" to check out in Bandon. My wife, daughter and I dropped in as we were trekking through Bandon and "OMG" the place is the number one SWEETS SPOT on the coast. The staff here are awesome as they are continually checking on the many customers dropping in and always trying to get you to try the great samples. I do have to say the amount of actual SAMPLES is awesome and helped us choose many great treats for the family. I do want to say that this was a great time to come during spring break as we were able to venture around and actually see the many stores here. We will definitely be back in the very near future as it's worth the drive. Prices are not extreme and leave room to get many treats.

This is another store I always have to make a point to stop at in Bandon whenever I’m in town. Cranberry sweets offers many different candies and pastries, ranging from fudge, taffy, fruit dipped candies, and more. The store had a lot of sample bowls, making it easier to decide what to buy. The environment looks overall well maintained, and the staff had positive looks on their faces. Overall, I’m a fan of this location, and I’ll likely return in the future.
