The Loft on 2nd Boutique — Local services in Bandon

I went in looking for dry pants because I took a tumble into the ocean and had to spend most of my day in soggy pants and The Loft saved my tail. I was immediately helped to find whatever they had in my size and from her clearance rack so I didn't have to worry too much about spending a lot of money just to feel dry and warm. I would have loved to spend some more time browsing. I wish I could remember the lady's name but I appreciated her helpfulness and hospitality. I got some extremely soft, fluffy, pajama/sweat pants which had the option of getting a matching top but I didn't need it. A couple of the clothes that should have been my size ran a bit small so it would be nice if there were more plus size items just in case something happens in the future. In my experience though, most boutiques don't cary plus sizes at all and I'm relieved she did carry XL options. Her clothing options were so cute I would have loved to get some if they came in bigger sizes....

My 16 year old daughter wrote the review about our experience in your store and it was 100% accurate. I see the owner replied. There were several things we both saw that we would have purchased. However the “in jest” comment that your employee made quite loudly did not feel “in jest” but rather quite pointed and downright rude. No one greeted us at all during our time in your store despite crossing paths a few times. Perhaps it was that we were dressed as “camping tourists” and judgment was passed on what we would or would not spend. Who knows. Many years ago I was a manager in a nationwide retail store that is quite popular. We were always given customer service training as excellent customer service was expected. One thing I learned has always stuck in my head….” For every 1 complaint that is made, it actually represents 10 others who had the same complaint.” I’ll just leave that there for potential customers...

Although very cute, the customer service is basically absent. As soon as you walk you see this cute little boutique filled with fun things. As we were walking around two older ladies were chatting and one of them went into the back room and said to the other make sure nobody steals anything. Mind you we were standing less than five feet away from them. I find huge offensive to this especially since we were tourists and that we would’ve bought something but not with this service. VERY...
