Academy Sports + Outdoors — Attraction in Barboursville

First time here today after browsing their website. The store is spacious and well laid out. Every section is clearly marked so you don't roam around endlessly looking for what you want. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the products in their section. I bought a few firearms today and the guys in that department went above and beyond to make my decision and experience even better. They even mounted a optical sight on my pistol for me and boresighted it. The whole experience was pleasant and stress free. I highly recommend paying them a visit. I went in to buy a rifle scope, and quickly found the one I wanted. A guy behind the counter asked if he could help me and I said “yes sir when you get a chance I’d like a scope from that case”. He replied “Okay let me help them over there with a scope real quick and then I’ll get it.” Then I stood there for 20 minutes while he checked them out, did something behind the counter and then helped 3 other groups of people while I awkwardly just stood there right in front of the counter. Bought some shorts there and I guess it was a system error and they sold them to me for the wrong price and then they tried to act like I was stealing something and got like three or four managers around me and started harassing me about it like I did something wrong, and then one of the employees cussed at me with the manager standing right there in front of them and they did nothing about it acted like they did nothing about it acted like they didn’t hear him say anything!!
