The mall it's self is fine but the mall cops are stupidly aggressive twords my family and I going shopping with our motorhome outside. One of us stayed outside in the car and was repeatedly told that we can't be there unless we're shopping and we were but they still said it more times and we weren't allowed the night before to sit in the parking lot and make sandwiches in our motorhome for dinner before we drove home instead we had to go off to some other place just to go again when we were done.
The security team there is highly aggressive and should not be deterring customers. They practically berated us when I returned from shopping and it was all in the early middle of the day, the mall was well open, perfectly normal shopping hours yet because we came back in a motorhome instead of a car we were instantly singled out as squatters, we were just shopping, buying things from your mall only to be interrogated during and after. I wish I hadn't gone and bought anything. We were only in for two hours, would you have tried to tow us if it were three or four? And we actually wanted to eat lunch and go back in but left do to the guards watching us about fifty feet away waiting for us to pull out and leave.
The Security team or more specifically head of security that was the most confrontational deserve a zero star but I'm putting two because the mall it's self while a little small was still kept clean and I didn't see any empty shops or mean employees beyond the aforementioned...
Read moreI had a store-policy issue re;refund of a gift purchase, from a National Franchise based in Atlanta , Georgia, with a store located in the Cape Cod Mall. I was quite upset and contacted BBB-Ma./BBB-Georgia/Mass.Bureau of Consumer Affairs/Mass. Attorney General's Office. I contacted the Company first and then chose the other routes of contact , because I could get no satisfaction. I called, as a last resort , Adra Cohen, the Manager of the Cape Cod Mall. She called back, listened to my issue and offered a phone call on my behalf, to area Manager of Franchise. This all occurred on Jan.13th-Adra Cohen and I spoke in the later part of the afternoon. She was polite, concise , business-like and professional and suggested, with no promises, that she would make a phone call and " Let's see what happens" I received a call upon entry to work this morning from the Area Manager ,of the National Franchise ,Rachel Schofield and she was also very sharp and very professional-I drove back to C.C.Mall and received a full refund !!! I cant thank those 2 ladies enough for their commom-sense approach to an old-fashioned concept-CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will go out of my way to shop ,and encourage all my family members, to do business locally, at a place you can trust-The Cape Cod Mall ! Leo Fein was the former manager-I knew him to be an effective manager and I think his successor is on a path that fills his vision of the Best Place To Shop on...
Read moreThe mall can be both a pleasure & a pain all at once. Patience is key to avoiding the pain--and don't expect the drivers in the parking lot to necessarily stop when you're in a crosswalk or the pedestrians to be paying attention when they're jaywalking despite the significant number of crosswalks. 😟😅 Once inside, however, the mall is all interconnected as you'd expect, so as long as you don't mind walking you only have to brave the parking lot twice. Most of the stores are well stocked & what you can't find in store you can have shipped directly to you. 💻😁🏠🚚 If you don't want to leave your car, many of the stores do have "curbside" pickup setup--though you don't park at the curb, you find their store's pickup parking spots & call to have your order brought out after its previously been ordered, paid for & scheduled online. 😊🚘🚶♂️ Most stores only require masks on customers if you're not vaccinated & everywhere currently requires their employees to wear masks. All in all, about what you'd expect from a mall these days. Just be careful in the parking lot! I need 2 hands to count the number of times I was in a crosswalk in the last 6 months & had to stop to let a car drive by because the driver wasn't even looking at...
