Twice in 2 weeks we went to Kohl's to make a return to Amazon. The first time, the clerk at the return desk was wired up and arguing loudly and vehemently with his co-worker complaining about other customers/co-workers complete with flailing arms, gestures, etc. I was the only person in line. The clerk finally decided to acknowledge me; "Amazon?" Me: "Yes". When I mentioned the fact that customers really don't like to walk in to a hostile environment when they enter a store, he proceeded to get defensive and yell at me until I reached the door, and then loudly complained about me to his co-worker. Flash forward today, 1:30 p.m.: Same guy, same hostile attitude, excessively 'wired' and agitated. We showed him the printout of the Amazon return code, again, the hostile attitude, hands thrown in the air, and stated that he couldn't process the return, with no specific reason. This is with the actual printout for Kohl's, from Amazon, plus photos on our phones of the return process. He refused to help, and his general attitude was one of "Get lost, I don't want to bother". Leaving us without options and a 24 mile wasted trip. Unbelievably rude and ramped up to pick an argument. I know customer service is a tough job; I've done it. But this person does NOT belong in this particular position. When it comes to a point where a person will quit shopping at a business, (and we will) it's time to find a more suitable position for this type of...
Read moreVery busy. I could see only 4 registers open with lines 3 and 4 deep. Every time I am in here it is this way. I can't stand that long. Granted the line moved quickly. There is nowhere to sit so I wont be shopping here again.
Feb. 2024...update...I needed to check out the store for Crock Pots.. I came in on the correct door but could find nobody to help. NO electric carts.only the standard push ones. They do have wheelchairs. Since most of the floor is carpeted, it takes 2 people to get around. I finally grabbed a regular cart and went looking. Found what I wanted and then walked across the store to the checkout. Stood in line for some time until another register opened. Another 5 minutes standing, and then it was my turn. I complained about the lack of amenities for the handicap. Mainly no electric carts. After looking around, I understood why. The clerk then helped me out to the car and told me the next time I come to call the store in advance and he would" free up a sales person to wheel me around and help with the shopping and the trip to the car." I then recomended that I pass this on to others so they can also have the benefit of shopping here. He agrees. That is why this post is so long. Bathrooms are in the back and usually clean. Wheelchairs are inside, halfway between the 2 sets of doors. Phone number I don't have, but will be calling them. Thank...
Read moreOne of my favorite stores but they really need to improve on their staffing. There is always a long wait to check out or at customer service. However I love shopping on the app and usually picking up my order curbside goes well! My last experience I went there to get a pair of shoes that I had found at dunhams but kohls had the darker color I wanted. It said one in stock. I found the style and there was a young guy working and he didn’t know what he was doing he scanned the shoe box and said the size I wanted was not in stock and left. Now the app said there was one in stock. Yeah someone could have bought them within the ten minutes I checked and hadn’t updated but then I saw a friendly gal walking by who I’ve noticed before Her name is Jamie (like me :) I told her what happened with the kid and she scanned and said yes it says there is one pair of shoes in your size. She helped look for them and then said let me check in back. Sure enough the pair of shoes was hiding back there. Thank you Jamie for finding me the shoes! As I told you you made my day! Kudos! You...
