When I crave a burger and real potato fries, Five Guys is the best place to go. The burgers are made fresh to my order. I select whether I want one, two, or more patties of beef, and which toppings I want. Then the burger is cooked fresh while I wait. It comes out hot and delicious. I can watch my food being prepared and I know how it's being made. I love their real potato, skin on potato fries because they have a full flavor of potato, so it's like eating a meat and potato dinner! I often love to also make my own beverage at the drink mix dispenser because it allows me to select from multiple options. Their machine is one of those Coca Cola multi drink machines. My usual plan is to go in, place my order, wait and watch as my food is prepared. Then, I take my meal to go. I have nothing against eating in the restaurant, It is well lit, clean, and there's plenty of seating both inside and a few tables outside too for when the weather is nice. And, for those of needing a public restroom, they have them too.
Employees have been friendly and helpful to explain their menu items to me, and how they do things differently from the competition.
About prices, I'd place them in the moderate to above average range. Sort of like Fuddruckers, Champps, or something similar... a cheeseburger will run $9 however, that's probably a double patty, you can always request a single patty or a "small burger" and that's around $6. If dining alone, or ordering for one, I recommend ordering a "small fries" which is enough for one person, and cost less than $5.
If you've never tried Five Guys for a burger and fries, I highly recommend you do it at least once. Treat yourself to this tastefully delicious food combination of meat and potatoes made your way. Don't...
Read moreFirst time getting food from Five Guys. I had heard it was pretty good and worth a try so had to check it out. Me and my other half arrived at the peak of dinner time.... my bad as it is a busy place as is with anything good. We ordered right away and it took about 10 minutes to get our food. I got the bacon cheese burger all in style with a small fry and a strawberry milkshake. The food was absolutely fantastic tasting, fresh as can be and you get to watch as they make all of your food. Things to note.... They use peanut oil so beware if you have an allergy.... though love fries in peanut oil. Second was a pleasant surprise but if you order a bacon cheeseburger it actually comes with two burger patties not one, so if you want one get the small burger. Their prices are a little bit on the higher side as it cost me about 40 dollars for the two of us, but please don't get me wrong as it was very worth the price. Would I eat there multiple times a week?... probably not. Would i eat there again?...
Read moreThis was my first visit to a Five Guys. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a regular sized Cajun fries.
The burger was great and I was surprised by the amount of fries for only being the regular size. They also had the free peanuts out available to snack on.
I've avoided Five Guys in the past as I know they are priced higher than many other fast casual restaurants and I've heard they can be quite busy however this location was not busy when I stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday.
The price is still a factor for me but given the amount of food and quality, I believe it still deserves 5 stars.
Do not be surprised to find out the burgers $10+ each and a regular Cajun fries is a bit over $6, if you can deal with the price, it...
