Oh, Mickey's PhilharMagic—where do I even begin? I was so excited for a calm, peaceful concert with Mickey leading the orchestra, you know, like an elegant evening of Disney classics. I imagined sitting back, enjoying a quiet performance with Mickey as the star, conducting a beautiful symphony of soothing tunes.
But instead, what I got was completely not that. Mickey is barely in it! Instead, the real focus is on Donald Duck—yes, Donald—who somehow manages to turn a simple concert into a chaotic, over-the-top disaster. Apparently, Mickey thought it would be a good idea to hand Donald the magic hat from Fantasia, and that’s when everything goes completely haywire. Suddenly, it’s not a peaceful concert at all! Donald messes everything up, causing the entire orchestra to fall apart, and we're thrown into this wild, unpredictable 3D adventure through various Disney films.
Instead of a calm, orchestrated performance, I’m being tossed around, drenched in water, and flying through scenes from The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Fantasia. There was zero elegance or relaxation—just loud music, flying brooms, and Donald causing pure chaos while Mickey is off in the background somewhere, barely present!
I came in expecting a classy, mellow experience, and instead, it felt more like a cartoon version of a rollercoaster. If you’re looking for a soothing concert, this is not the place. If you’re cool with Donald Duck wrecking everything in sight and turning a “concert” into a full-on animated adventure, then sure, you...
Read moreA very enjoyable show for kids and adults alike. This show is located in Fantasyland, across from the carousel, and between the carousel and castle. It didn’t look like much from the outside but once we got inside the theater it was a different event altogether. You enter into a large area outside a set of doors. Once the previous show is completed and the doors open, you enter into a large theater and are told when to put on your glasses to fully experience the event. The show is a 4D experience where Donald Duck ends up stealing Mickey’s sorcerer hat and chaos follows. He crashes through a bunch of classic Disney movie scenes—like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and more—all set to the music we grew up loving. There are bursts of air, scents, water sprays, and the 3D visuals are well done. The beginning may be a little much for little ones but if they can hold out a few minutes the other movie pieces should capture their attention. I did really enjoy how the show pulled me right into the story. One second you’re under the sea with Ariel, the next you’re flying over Agrabah with Aladdin. And it’s just the right length (about 12 minutes) so it's a perfect break from the heat and crowds. So, if you’re looking for something that’s fun, nostalgic, and a little unexpected, definitely check it out. Mickey’s PhilharMagic ended up being one of my favorite...

I’m not surprised there are so few reviews of this attraction! I’ve been to Disney multiple times in my life and have never been to this before this spring. But it’s so much fun!
It’s one of the 4-D movie experiences and in this one, you get to enjoy several of your very favorite Disney musical scenes. You fly with Jasmine and Aladdin on a magic carpet, you experience the feast at the Beast’s castle as Lumiere sings - there’s even smell-o-vision for this scene, and you swim with Ariel. It’s a wonderful, nostalgic 10 minutes that remind you of how 80’s and 90’s Disney movies made you feel.
Two other great things about it are 1. there’s not a line and 2. it’s air-conditioned! Makes for a good break from standing out...
