Al Richards Chocolates — Attraction in Bayonne

I was very disappointed with Easter Baskets I ordered and sent to relatives around the country. I like AL Richards candies and usually buy the chocolate and make my own baskets to send. However I am homebound now and cannot do it. I ordered the small and medium baskets and the bunny bags and sent them to New Orleans, Chesapeake, Va. and Staten Island. The recipient in S.I. brought the basket to me so I could see it. I was shocked to see how little chocolate was in it and so much " penny candy" to use as filler. Why I don't know. AL Richards is known for its chocolate not button candy, gum drops and other penny candy Between the price of the gifts and postage it was over $200. So I went into the store today to just get something special for my husband. The woman working was friendly, professional and a wonderful representation of how great this store is. I had a horrible experience with Edible Arrangements the last 2 Mother’s Day in a row. I just found out that Al Richard’s delivers and I lived in Bayonne pretty much my whole life…lol. So suffice to say I’m so happy. They will be getting all of my business from now on because their service and products can not be beat.
