South Cove Commons — Attraction in Bayonne

Stop 'n Shop (5 stars); cinema; Hibachi bar grill - beautiful ambiance, romantic, tucked away privacy or not; TJ Max, Dunkin' Donuts - Baskin Robbins; Sits on inlet from Hudson River with a 2.5 mile coastal walk-way (5mile total), benches, estuary, no shade but great wind off Atlantic ocean. Houlihans has been highly popular since it first arrived. Great bar, not skimpy🤗, booth seating and seating outdoors in seasonal months. Large dining area adjacent but closed off from bar area which has a slew of T.V.'s hosting any sport at any time. Directly across the parking lot is the movie theatre, with 3 or more movies, showing afternoon, evening, and late. It's not fair to say one cannot get lost , anything is possible. However the stores surround the parking lot on all perimeters, so everything is on the inside, including the kids. KEEP WINDOWS OPEN FOR PETS. IT'S HOT IN THERE - DON'T KEEP PETS OR KIDS IN THE CAR. South Cove has some good businesses like Home Goods, Houlihans, Stop and Shop, Gamestop, Hallmark, and a few others on it. I use the 24 hour laundromat there to do my laundry.

I run The Bayonne Chess Society & Club. We have over 300 adult members, who play chess and boardgames. All ages and experience levels. No idea how many kids we have, as many come with their parents. We play all over Bayonne. Joe's Pizza, Chubby's, Houlihan's, Cafe 26, Bayown's Vendor Mart, etc. We have places like Hendrickson's, San Vito's, and Andrew's Healthy Foods in the pipeline.

This place is has several restaurants, a grocery store ( A&P), laundromat, tj max, a Japanese steakhouse, a movie theater, massage salon, nail salon, fitness center, blood test center, etc. There was a staple store, but it is now closed down. I have only been to Tj max, A&P, and the movie theater. The target is nice and the employees are friendly and professional. I have been there different times on the weekend. And I suggest you go early if you wish to avoid the crowd, especially during the holidays season.
