I live in Bayonne for over two years. As an eBay seller, I've dealt with this location often. They've always been great but today they really saved the day and I appreciated it enough that I felt obligated to point out the employee's exemplary service.
I recently sold a 88-key digital piano on eBay and shipping it was a nightmare. I couldn't find a box anywhere, so I ended up with this giant adjustable moving box from Lowe's that was really designed for big screen TVs. It was much bigger than I needed but it was all they had the would accommodate the piano's 4 1/2' length.
Long story short I am wrestling with this thing. Can't get it to stay shut. Run out of tape. Cram it into my car. It's falling apart. I'm frustrated and annoyed. I dragged it into UPS Store, frazzled and all over the place, and just "Someone please, help me!" I was the personification of a train wreck.
The woman was so helpful she immediately was like come back here let me help you. I was apologizing profusely about the big awkward box, feeling like an idiot. Babbling on about not being able to tape it, this and that. She was just like "sir we got this. Don't even worry about it. Relax just leave it here. Here's your receipt. We're gonna pack it properly, tape it. Everything. You're good."
I didn't get you name miss but THANK YOU. You saved the day that was driving me crazy. I hope whatever manager is reading this gives this girl a raise because service like that is hard to come by these days. The UPS store in Bayonne has an excellent and helpful staff and general, but this woman really went above and beyond....

While Iām waiting another customer walks in the counter person (male, glasses, black hair) finishes up with the customer before me and quickly began helping the customer who walked in after me. I politely said that I was next, which in fact, I was next. The counter person then aggressively starts to wave his hands, head, and shoulders yelling āwell you donāt have to be rude about itāš§ I wasnāt rude I simply acknowledge that you chose to take another customer over me knowing that I was waiting. Based on what? Does my brown skin mean I have extra time to wait. He was wrong and falsely accused me of being rule. And he was aggressive and caused I seen I was extremely uncomfortable.
