This was the best experience I could have imagined when my Fiance was shopping for an engagement ring. Charles has a large selection of engagement rings that vary in price. Charles did not rush us and we did not feel pressured. There were so many gorgeous rings to choose from. Charles explained all the details and gave us many choices that would fit our budget. I chose a difficult ring to resize and it is perfect!!! And they got it done before Christmas! I am so happy with my ring & diamond! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. All I needed was a larger clasp put on my son’s necklace, but I was charged $81.00 for such a small job. To make matters worse, the jeweler kept the original clasp, claiming the "trade-in" was included in the price—something he never mentioned before doing the work.

I originally went in just to get a quote, but instead of telling me the cost, they went ahead and completed the job without my authorization. I only found out it was finished when I got a call saying it was ready, leaving me with no choice but to pay the inflated price.

This experience felt misleading and unfair. I will definitely not be returning, and I regret not going to Alters Gem...

I brought a Movado watch in for repair that I've had for 15 years. It wouldn't wind correctly. Long story short, the watch was with the store for a couple weeks and I paid two different times the amount they charged me for repair. Once it was ready, I noticed a scratch on the dial that I'd never seen before. The store management and I disagreed on the cause of that damage, but the store resolved it to my great satisfaction. They ordered a new dial and replaced it for me at no additional charge beyond what I'd already paid. I appreaciate their committment to going "above and beyond" for their customers. I will gladly continue to patronize...
