San Francisco Tienda Mexicana — Attraction in Beaverton

It a bit dirty inside, shelves are not fully stocked, faced, or organized, the floor is gross and uneven, a pretty much nonexistent freezer section and the fridge wasn't exactly cold... So it's definitely not what I'm used to for American supermarket standards. But it seems authentic, there were several items I've never seen before however many American staples were missing. Produce selection is limited and expensive compared to the warehouse stores like WinCo. 3 green peppers for $6!!!??? 1 double can of refried beans for $4!!?? Many items have no price tags so you don't know what things cost til you check out then it's too late. So just be choosy what you buy here. I'm not a Mexican food expert but I dig their carne asada from the meat department that is already marinated and ready to grill and they have a Mexican creme that I can't find anywhere else...although the last time I was there the creme they had on the tepid, desolate shelf was 2 weeks past expiration date. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Restaurant side very dirty. Staff cooks with the same gloves they clean the tables and clots. Disgusting! 4 taco order took about 1hr. At first, it was understandable due to them making everything homemade. Fresh tortillas, therefore it didn’t make a big deal. After 30 minutes. About five people had been served that came after me. Staffed just passed and never questioned if I was waiting for an order. I asked the staff and they said it would take a couple more minutes. By then it had been a hour. I usually like to try out restaurants that are located inside a grocery store. They usury are pretty good and you know they rarely run out of ingredients. This place has been here for awhile and definitely has some solid food. We got a variety of tacos and the fajitas combo. The tacos were of good size and meat portion were generous.
